My dad took my sister and me camping at Killbear Provincial Park when we were kids. We’d meet up with his sister and her family and ended up going ten years in a row, only stopping when my sister and I went off to university. It had always been on my dad’s bucket list to do another family trip, and we finally made it happen this summer. We had 20 family members (aunts, uncles, cousins, first cousins once removed) and another 15 friends drop in throughout the week. It felt pretty special to come full circle, showing the next generation our favorite spots and making new memories in a place that meant so much growing up.
