Started playing more with collage style, taking images from the only magazine I'm still physically receiving (aka an ad lol) and utilizing some pages from a ephemera book that I'd normally be too anxious to use. My theme for this year artistically is "use the damn thing". I'm terrible at hoarding resources that I love but am afraid to use because they're "too nice" or I want to "save" them for something that never ends up materializing. Just use the damn thing!

hi! this is my first collage in over a month so I'm feeling good about getting back at it!

it's on a 14x18 inch wooden panel that's been varnished. it has a smooth satin finish. I used a poster of a cover of an old lesbian pulp novel, scrapbook paper, smithsonian magazines from the late 80's, acrylic medium as adhesive, and a white paint pen!
