tumblr tuesday: collage!

Behold! Another week, another Tuesday. Here are some things folk have made with their very own scissors. Yes, that’s right. Perhaps some pens, glue, even paints were involved. Let’s not jump to conclusions. Here, have some collages for your troubles.

Vintage floral inspired art/ junk journal page. I used coffee dyed paper underneath the right half, but I feel kind of dumb because I covered most of it 😅 luckily it was very easy and cheap to make. I used old book pages, napkins, a dried flower and a bit of washi tape and pen on the bottom. I actually did a layer of purple ink and acrylic painted flowers underneath, but they really didn’t look good so they’re covered. I really enjoy re purposing things I’d either throw away or just ignore.

Pages from the mini envelope junk journal I made almost a year ago. This art is older than the stuff I currently make, so I’m happy to see the progress I’ve made, especially with composition and how to actually use gesso😅

I want to incorporate some different book pages done I have a few old ones laying around, and maybe get a few new washi tapes at some point. Overall though, I like the recycling aspect of using household materials. I already spend quite a lot on watercolor and paper, so this od
