System Freeze

A time where the system goes into partial dormancy in some way, usually with one main person in front for the entire time, and it feels almost similar to being nonplural for the time during the freeze due to lack of switching, activity, and headspace chatter. Can last for days, to months, to even years. Eventually will "thaw" back out into normal system activity levels.

Dreagenic

A system type for when your sleeping dreams affect your plurality in some way. This could be by causing system members based on dreams, dreams showing you more of your headspace, or any other effects.

Dreaject

An insourced introject that is caused/brought forward by sleeping dreams, commonly in Dreagenic systems.

Polyplex/Sidesystem Coining Masterpost

Polyplex

A type of system in which there are several separate sidesystems that make up one larger “collective” system.

Centre System

A term for the "main system" in any given polyplex. This could mean anything from the biggest system out of the polyplex, to the most active, or the most front accessible. System members from the centre system will be more often the ones fronting to control the body at any given time.

Sidesystem

A term similar to subsystem, a sidesystem is a separate system standing metaphorically "to the side" or "next to" a main system. A sidesystem is different from a subsystem in that, instead of being stacked or being a system within a system, a sidesystem is its own completely separate system alongside the existing main system. Sidesystems often have their own "dimensions" of the headspace, and have their own system members.

Side Host

The host of a sidesystem. Just like centre systems, there can be multiple side hosts in charge of one sidesystem.

Over the past while we’ve been coining a fair amount of terms related to plurality, and figured we should make a post dumping all of them. These are all absolutely free to use, and reblogs are greatly appreciated!

Architect: A headmate that controls or manipulates the headspace/innerworld.

Systive: An introject of a system as a whole, or a system’s singletsona.

Chronotive: An introject of a past version of a person/character. Can be used as chronofictive, chronofactive, etc.

Oblitive: A headmate that moved from one introject identity to another; A headmate that is both a pre- and post- introject.

Collectien: A system without a designated host.

Fluitien: A system without a consistent member count, or a member count that changes frequently.

Circutien: A system that goes through regular cycles of gaining and losing members.

Glacitien: A system with an extremely stable member count; A system that gains or loses members rarely.

Ex-median: A system that used to be median, but has become multiple.

Ex-multiple: A system that used to be multiple, but has become median.

Nihilcorporus: A headmate with no physical form in-headspace.

Fluicorporus: A headmate with an unclear or ever-changing physical form in-headspace.

Nihilocus: A system with no headspace/innerworld

New Term! Congenic

Congenic: A term used to indicate that someone’s origins are complicated. Can be used as a standalone origin or in conjunction with other origin terms.

Ex: “The Lumin Hearts are metacongenic”. In this example, “metacongenic” indicates that The Lumin Hearts are most aligned with the metagenic label, but that their origins are more complicated than that.
