"Claire?" Nesh all of the sudden stood in the door of the clinic, fiddling with her hands. The Starborn had left without a word month ago and no one had heard from them in all that time til now. Nesh seemed so uncharacteristically anxious. "I'm scared..." She whined.
The medic was looking over a data pad behind her front desk. Honestly she wasn’t expecting anyone this early in the day, but when she looked up, seem Nesh was definitely unexpected. “N-Nesh?!” Claire said, certainly surprised by her presence. “Is everything ok? Where have you been?!” She asked while walking towards her.
Claire gave out a sigh of relief. At least he was forgiving. Though Val could be a different story.
"Wait! Did you say Commander Shepard? The Commander Shepard!?" Claire gave a slight panic. Those who dealt with Shepard aren’t treated too kindly. Since the Great Commander worked outside the law, who knows what Shepard would do to Val.
Arthur turned back to Claire hearing her panicked question. "Yes and I am just as concerned as you as to what Canis will do if the good Commander proofs to be.... in her way." He replied and then his face grew concerned as well. "My worst case scenario is that we will see Canis return to her stationed from, sucking only the Normandy into her core, but also incinerate the Citadel. I doubt that this station can withstand the heat and radiation of a red hypergiant in that close proximity."
Nesh suddenly looked angry. "She would never do that!" She yelled. "She has people here she cares about! Litu, Claire, Rine and many more! She would never let anything happen to them and don't you dare coming me with this 'She is a vicious star' bullshit! She WAS a vicious star!" The salarian looking continued to defend her red companion, talking rather fast. Arthur only gave a sigh.
"Yeah, you’re right. Uh, wait. Millions? Millions of years?” Sirrit blinked. Surely he’d heard wrong - or this person was messing with him, which certainly wasn’t unheard-of. Sirrit wasn’t the most discerning sort, and he readily tended to believe even outlandish claims (like living for millions of years), which made some people find it fun to lead him on wild goose chases. (Or tell him things like ‘the word Gullible is written on the ceiling!’) "I… don’t think I’ve heard of any species that lives for that long. Are you like a kind of asari? You look human, though. Human-ish?"
Vallery gave a nod. "Doesn't surprise me. As of late my kind has kept to the deep space, staying mostly away from others." She explained. "Some spacetravelers call us Starborn. In a nutshell we are sentient stars that copied the look of other alien races, human in my case, to set out traveling through space, looking for others of our kind. Hard to believe I know, but if I have to I can proof it."
Calling all OCs
Reblog this if you are a Rper who uses a OC
STOP SPREADING FREAKY MADE UP SHIT
Like things about ouija boards and ghosts and hauntings or those “reblog this in a few seconds or your mom will die”
These are ALWAYS fake
Not only are they ALWAYS fake, but they can give people EXTREME anxiety from seeing something freaky like that. I don’t believe them half the time but it literally scares the shit out of me because I have anxiety problems.
Please reblog this to spread the word.
YES PLEASE DON’T DO THIS
"Well, I mean it’s not like I go around saying how happy it makes me… even if it kind of is a relief," Sirrit shrugged. "It’s just something I hadn’t thought about until somebody said something to me today. I hadn’t really thought about it from somebody else’s point of view before. Like, I only got 40 years to worry about it. Some of my friends have like, a thousand. It’s just weird is all."
Vallery nodded. "I understand what you mean, but don't ponder too much about it. Doesn't get you anywhere." She said with a light shrug. "Not trying to sound like a weird old grandma here giving you overused life advise, but my kind lives for millions of years, so I had enough time to make some experiences... aaaand I'm babbling.."
"What I wanted to say. It's a thought to think about, but not for too long. Rather make the time you have the best for you and those you care about. Memories are unbeatable."
"Well now I’m thinking… salarians only living 40 years and all, while everybody else mostly lives a lot longer. Especially asari, but like even humans and turians and… I mean, is that sad? I never really thought about it as being sad, I was always happy that I’d never have to watch my friends get old or die. But I kind of never thought of how it would make THEM feel, watching ME. Um… wow, maybe that was selfish of me. Is that sad?"
"It's not a pleasant thing to see those you care about die." The red Starborn replied.
"But it really depends on the point of view. Sure if you talk careless about you being happy not to have to watch your friends die, you might upset some of them. But once you are dead that does not really matter anymore and you will not have to watch their griefing either. It's a more sided coin." She added.
A message from Vallery would reach Rine. It said that the Starborn needed her help and wanted to speak with her along with some coordinates.
Rine looks down at the message and orders the Normandy to head in the directions of the coordinates. “I wonder what those two got themselves into this time.” She murmurs under her breath as she stands at the Galaxy Map.
Rine blinks a few times as she tries to process the request. “So… You want me to put you in a box and point you in the direction of your enemies?” She chuckles softly not sure she understood the idea of what Vallery was asking.
"I think I get what you’re asking but please be careful."
"Kinda. You just drop me in the box near Sol and tell me when the enemy Starborn shows up. The I will come out of the box and chase them to... what that evil place of that one human religion?" She thought a moment. "Oh yeah. Hell. I will chase them to hell."

A Late Coffee
(Hope you don't mind that I set this while she still works at the Lucky Cat Cafe.)
It was about closing time, the last guest had just left and the last cup was about to be clean. Unexpected the door opened once more and a late gust entered the Cafe. For some strange reason the temperature suddenly felt higher.
""Excuse me." A female voice adressed Aiko. "I know I'm way too late, but could I bother you for a coffee to go?" She asked. Turning to the customer Aiko would be facing a tall caucasian woman in her thirties with red hair and..... red glowing eyes. But her eyes weren't the only lit up thing on her. Across her face and arms were strange marks, looking like cracks that beared the same red glow. Almost like her skin was covering a burning core inside her. Which wasn't so far from the truth.

**I could see that happening :3
Oh? With one though?
Claire gave a look back, like a mother scolding her child. After leaving her clinic (and locking it up) The pair headed towards the Skyport, only to bump into a small boy. Though, the marks on him seemed a lot like Nesh’s. And that voice! It made Claire’s eyes nearly pop out of her head.
As the two conversed themselves, her eyes flicked between the two. “Oh, I see. It’s fine…” Claire said a bit nervously, not expecting to bump into another starborn. “Nice to meet you Arthur.. Uum..” She then quickly bowed in return. “Dr. Claire Giorgi. If you know Nesh, then you must be familiar with Val. Maybe you can help us calm her down.”
"A pleasure to meet you too, Doctor." The golden Starborn smiled at the returned bow. However the nervousness in the medic's voice did not slip from his attention. "Yes I know Canis very well." He replied to her question. "I will try my best to keep things from escalating." He assured and then turned to the salarian looking again."And before you ask my dear, no Nesh I am not angry with you. I can understand that you ran after what happened. No one of us expected them to have a Fallen in their midst. I'm sure Canis will understand too."
"Right now our red hypergiant is conversing with the current hero of the universe. Commander Shepard if I'm not mistaken." Arthur said, turning to join them in their walk to the Skyport.
paragonangel sees them flare
At seeing the anomaly’s form, both Syra and Joker were taken aback by it. It, no, she looked so normal and yet….the way she glowed, her skin seemingly covering up a burning core underneath, like cracks in the earth showing the molten rock underneath.
When the light waves hit the ship, the spectre let out another hiss and braced for some attack, for the ship to rock violently with some sort of impact but instead, EDI’s voice sounded from the speakers, amused.
"Seems that our acquaintance couldn’t quite hear us over the fact that there is no sound in space." Joker glared at the AI while Syra was ready to collapse from all the stress. "Being that I don’t believe we can easily communicate with light wave based technology, our other option is to invite them in."
Leaning heavily on Joker’s chair, she nodded to the AI. “Go on Joker, turn the ship and open the airlock, make sure the inner door is sealed first. I’ll make sure to have everyone on alert but not guarding the door, to avoid any violent reactions.”
When the Normandy started moving, Vallery leaned back to float in space, letting the ship do the turn. During that time a flare from her blue companion who was hiding on the citadel reached her. She gave a weak smile. "Knew it.."
She would deal with the runaway after the meeting with the spectre.
Before entering the airlock, she dropped her heat once more. It had been a while since she had entered any alien structure and she wanted to make sure not to burn off the wallpanels. Or faces. Either wasn't a good thing at the first meeting.
Soon after she landed inside the airlock, her attention on the door before her, waiting for it to open.
