Collin felt nervous about Norah coming to his house. It was just to borrow his iPod nothing more. He shouldn't be nervous. He needed to get over her so that she could be happy. She deserved happiness and because he loved her so much he couldn't stand in the way of hers. It wasn't the right thing to do. He wanted to talk to her about the kiss,it brought back a lot of feelings. Only looking into her beautiful eyes brought back feelings and memories. But he wasn't going to mention it. If she wanted to pretend it never happened he would. He'd do anything for her. Did she still feel anything for him? Or was she completely in love with her new guy? Because getting over her would be easier if he knew she didn't feel the same way. He paced around the room thinking for what felt like hours until he heard a knock on the door.

He finished restoring his house yesterday and he was proud of how it looked. The dark wooden floor was still in good shape. He manged to fix the furniture the house had and it looked rather well. He kept all of furniture in their original dark colour,except the dining table,that could fit four people, and the matching stools. They were painted white. He still had no idea what colour he should paint the walls. Perhaps Norah had an idea? Collin wondered if she liked what he made out of this house.With a smile on his face he opened the door,hoping she wouldn't notice that he was nervous. "Come in,love" He stepped aside and let her enter his house.

A Walk in the Rain// Corah

Norah kept walking, wiping under her eyes as she went. He face was stained pink because she was crying so much. She hated when she cried that much. She kept walking, keeping her eyes on the sand. Norah knew what she wanted, she wanted to be with Collin. But, the other part of her knew that she needed to move on. She needed change. As Norah got closer and closer to where she was going, she realized that she still had Collin’s hoodie on around her shoulders. She took if off, carrying it in her arms and walked back to where he was standing.

"Dammit." She whispered as she came closer to Collin. “Here." She said, giving the sweatshirt to Collin and smiling, wiping her tears once again. “I forgot to give this to you." She said, turning around again and walking away.

Collin stared after her as she walked down the beach. He knew letting her go was the right thing to do. And for once,he wanted to do what's right. He wanted Norah to be happy and if it was without him he couldn't be selfish and not let her go. He needed to let her go,no matter how much it hurt him. Collin just couldn't be selfish with her.

Collin looked up from the sand and noticed Norah coming back to him with his sweatshirt in her small hands. He wanted her to keep it because he was afraid that she might catch a cold. Instead of saying anything he just nodded,giving her a small smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. He noticed she was crying from the look on her face and he wanted nothing more than to wipe the tears from her face,but he stopped himself from doing that. He needed to set her free and let her go. He wanted to stop her from walking away,but it was the right thing for her to do. Being apart from him was better for her. He hurt her and he will never forgive himself for that. He deserved the pain he was feeling now.
