“i know - i - i wanted to - but there was so much going on and i couldn’t focus on anything else. babe, i’m sorry. i’ll make it up to you and teddy, i promise i will.”

Wren’s eyes narrowed. “Where. The hell. Have you been? I- it’s been months, Colman.”
“i’m sorry, wren. there was a family emergency, i had to go.”

“Uh..Welcome to my apartment? I could have been in my underwear, you know.”
“that would have been a nice surprise.”

he hooked his arm around her, “drinks on me, it’ll be your housewarming gift.”
“I love you so much.” she laughed.
“love you too, sara. i’m glad you’re here.” he grinned widely at her. when they made it to the bar he ordered them each a coupe rounds of shots, “let’s see if you can keep up with me.”

“You read my mind.”
he hooked his arm around her, “drinks on me, it’ll be your housewarming gift.”

“Having some fun.”
“hell yeah, that’s what i like to hear. should we go out?”

“So, should we start now?”
“start what?”
sara-hendrickson :
Sara laughed and shook her head. “Well I’m here now to make your life a lot better.”
“everything is perfect, then.” he grinned.
wren-toven :
Wren watched as Teddy lay on his belly in the grass, seemingly pouting in concentration as he stared over at his bear. She laughed softly, keeping a careful, but amused eye on him. “He’s so serious.” She chuckled. “He never cries, and he’s so quiet. He’s like.. a little elderly man.”
colman laughed with her, “i don’t know how we got so lucky with the most well behaved baby that’s ever lived.”

“That’s no fun.” she frowned. “Like, literally nothing? We’re gonna have to find you something to do.”
he shrugged, “my world ceases to exist when you’re gone.” he teased dramatically.
sara-hendrickson :
“Something like that. So, anything new or interesting? Tell me everything.”
he shrugged, “nothing really new with me.” he completely disregarded wren and teddy, knowing that sara would see him differently if he told her. “same old same old, mostly.”

“Maybe I wanted to surprise you.”
he laughed, “well if that’s what you meant to do you did a pretty good job of it. you finally decided to come here after all my nagging?”
sara-hendrickson :
“You think so? I guess it’ll be okay since you’re here and all.”
he grinned, “very true. it’s good to see you again, sara. you should have let me know you were coming i would have thrown a party or something!”
sara-hendrickson :
“Hm, this place looks kinda dull.”
“sometimes it gets a little bit quiet, but i think you’ll warm up to it.”

Frida put on a friendly smile, leaning up to tap someone politely on the shoulder. “Hi. Sorry, I’m trying to find the art room. Do you know where that is?”
“i do, actually. my girlfriend practically lives in there she’s painting so often. i can show you.” he smiled warmly at the girl, “what kind of art do you primarily do?”

She smiled and nodded faintly. “I really am.”
“good.” he smiled at her, “so what’s new? any breakthroughs on your projects yet?”
