Reunion of Partners@ Keiss
Okay, it was official. He had searched all through this so called ‘Moogle Town’ ever since he had mysteriously arrived. The only thing he did know was that Layle was here. How did he know? Instinct. Wherever there was confusion, or trouble, Layle was always there on the spot.
The Selkie was now on one of the colorful rooftops, examining the sea of people. Searching for any sort of trouble, or any sort of blonde messy hair. After some time of searching, his back fell against the rooftop, staring blankly at the endless rolling clouds beyond the sky.
Some time had passed, the sun was beginning to sink marking the time of dusk. The crowd was thinning fast. He sat up to gaze upon the town one last time, then it hit him. Blonde messy hair. Bingo. He quickly sprang up, and jumped off the rooftop, landing perfectly on two feet in front of his partner. Shifting his head around to look at him, the Selkie managed a smile.
“Get into any trouble while I was gone, Crystal Bearer?”
The figure that dropped suddenly before him stopped the Clavat instantly. Head tilted back in surprise, but placid eyes narrowed, disinterested in the display of physical prowess. Layle felt more right to show off than ever before, but he held it instead. It had been some time since he had last seen his ally, having abandoned him to help the mysterious Yuke. Though he hadn’t exactly missed the Selkie, he hadn’t forgotten him either.
“I think you know the answer to that one, Keiss.”
The sound off an amused scoff flew out of his lips. He straitened his arm, then pulled out his uniform to show Layle that he was still loyal to the Lilty army, even if both of them had been pulled forcefully into this odd world. He crossed his arms, then leaned back, trying not to show much emotion, but in the end couldn't help but smile.
"Yeah, yeah, you can't help it, can you?"
