Welcome to the SFAWTDE canon divergence ask blog!

Here are some things before we all dive into action:

This is an art ask blog run by yours truly @kotikaleo , all replies will be some form of (visual) art. ~50% will be sprites I made to save on time, and so you don't have to wait for a few months between replies, the rest will be sketches or comics, you will see it's gonna be great!

The story diverged from canon right here, when Avery's footage got cut in the middle of the DAWTDE, and from then you will be the ones to push it forward! Just ask questions and from answers you will see what is the difference and where it all goes!

Specify who you are addressing: both Avery and/or D3rLord3 are available for questions. King in Yellow is not, hmmmm I wonder why? 👀 Who knows I guess you will have to stick with me and see!

All answers will be tagged with simple #ask blog and here you will be able to read them all in order on pc version of the website.

Ask anything. If characters do not want to answer - ask again! Bother them, piss them off, mess with them!!! They are characters, they do not have boundaries, and that's what makes it into an interesting story.

But I as a creator have a right to refuse to answer any questions for any reasons. :3

Duplicated questions will be combined into one ask.

Keep in mind that characters themselves can lie to you and to each other ;3

There probably will not be any blood because nether of the characters have blood (hm I wonder why? Ask them >:3), but there might be some triggering content like guro, mentioning of self harm/suicide attempts, and some nsfw topics. I will tag everything appropriately, and if you are sure you can handle all of it, please check Tumblr settings for mature content, in case they are are set to "hide"

And last but not least - I am not stupid but DEFINITELY not as smart as DerLord is XD. Sorry for that. You are free to send some obscure Minecraft knowledge to me to be used here XD

I think that Grian has ALWAYS had the widows curse. If you look at past series he's been in I think you'd agree, let me explain my thoughts!

So kov, Taurtis died a few times during the roleplay, the only one to do so (I believe they he had a slightly implied relationship when they first entered the Inn "don't you worry about what we do, we'll be nice and toasty" or whatever the quote was.) Not to mention *Olga* who had a... *sexual relation* with him. I think that he also flirted with the the wizard girl at the beginning only to end up killing her in wizard chess. Poor baby:(

In Yhs Taurtis (who I'm pretty sure was fwb with g, been a while since I've seen it could be wrong) Sam stabbed him and he got in a car crash, later I believe he died and got cloned (I think. Still been a while, feel free to correct me) He also died in cannibal murder, which, to be fair, was kinda expected. I mean, do you expect people to live in a video called cannibal murder? I think not!

And in Evo I'm almost certain he died in every episode that Grian filmed with him. I personally think that it only got worse as time progressed and became more known in the life series because it happened so frequently and on a larger scale, for instance being the last of the bad boys, same w the spanners, BigB, Scar, you get the drift.

Just a fun thing to think about! I welcome any other theories that you guys have! Just want to feed my children with angst <3

OKAY THIS IS REALLY FREAKING INTERSTING

But the real question for me is, What does it mean? Who put that curse on him??

I mean my own personal theory right is. The Watchers put the Widow's curse on Grian POST 3rd Life cuz they wanted to play a sick joke on him. Like "Oh if you wanna kill yo friends so bad we'll make sure you're always left alone" somethingsomething punishment for rebellion, something something

But if the idea is the Widow's Curse has been there since day one, since EVO before he was even CLOCKED on by the Watchers, in lore ehat would that mean??

Was Grian just born with it? Did the Watchers always have their eyes on Grian and was playin a prank on him cuz he originally made the Evo server (or they just knew the future lol)?

But you know what maybe reasonings dont matter, fellas lets focus on how this would affect Grian ESPECIALLYYY IN LIFE SERIES

I have the idea that Grian remembers every life series, cuz of course he does (maker of the server, Watcher, even him being the first winner) so its just deaths upon deaths

Damn I have alot to say on how this curse affects Grian I made a whole Reel outta it but basically, he wouldnt want to get close to ANYYYBODYYY else - like in subsequent seasons of life series after Scar he's always moved on quickly. Thats why I always place the Widow's curse being put on him after 3rd life

I LOVEEE THAT YOU NOTICED THIS maybe,, insteada it actually being a fully realized curse just yet, it was a projection of what was to come in the future - maybe the Watchers were ALWAYS keeping an eye on him >:]
