the nintnedo switch 2 freaks me out. im not a big nintendo person, never have been, but i remember them being so cool and colorful (see: gameboy advance sps cool deep purple, the gamecubes… slightly deeper purple) and now its just all completely black except for the colors under the joysticks! and yes of course, i know that a lot of the previous consoles have came in black options, but they were options! the regular console wasnt this opressive black color! and its part of an awful design thing where now, everything is either the deepest black, or the brightest white. why cant i have silver anymore? light mode hurts my eyes but i dont like dark mode, give me back silver you assholes!

the replacement of websites with apps sounds so backwards when you actually describe it. like hmm you have to download an entire program onto your device each time you want access to a portal, where it takes up storage indefinitely. somebody should invent an app where you can "browse" any portal just by typing in its address... 🥴

honestly, halo 3 is the pinnicale of video game graphics. incredibly good looking, but also amazingly stylized to where it still holds up 19 years later.
