Ellie Goulding - Dead In The Water (Instrumental) Halcyon the thing about this is that your first reaction is “that’s a great instrumental, as far as instrumentals go” but when you go back and compare this instrumental to the original song you can truly feel the power that Ellie’s unique voice brings to the song.  I listen to this and enjoy the music but when I listen to the original, I get shivers because her raw voice just holds such power, strength and beauty.  Being able to listen to both versions and realize how truly powerful her voice is is BEAUTIFUL.
