I decided to learn a Queen guitar solo on my keytar.

I am having an article in The Washington Post published about me soon, this week I think and I’m terrified, lol. The photographer followed me at work and at home yesterday and I’ve done two interviews so far for the article.

In Rebecca Caine's recent post she's talking about a phantom who started out in the Ken Hill poto in San Francisco and then he was moved to Broadway where he started as Raoul and moved up to Phantom. Do you have any idea what actor this is? Xx

Whether I do or don't, I don't think a public Tumblr post is the place for me to speculate, and I'm not sure that's the intent of the post. I think it's better for us to always be aware that there's terrible things going on behind the scenes of some of our favorite musicals, sometimes involving some very famous and beloved actors, and to support people when they speak out against this.

i wonder if it is Kevin Gray? He was in the SF 1988 production of Ken Hill‘s Phantom plus both roles of Raoul and then Phantom on Broadway In 1990 as replacements. I hope it isn’t him though, and he isn’t here to defend himself.

Miss you little buddy.

Two weeks ago, my little buddy had to be euthanized after going into shock from bloat. He was fine the day before. Then I found him noto moving much, in pain and very cold. Rushed him to my usual vet but nothing could be done. Worst of all, I had to take my six year old because I was the only one home.

He was the best rabbit anyone could ask for. Very affectionate and had a heck of a personality. A piece of me died when he did, although his actual passing was very peaceful and beautiful.

8.5 years on this earth was not long enough but I am selfish for wanting more time.

I started a garden a few days ago in memory of him. I’m planting vegetables and herbs that my other two buns can eat.

New Venture

Santa got me a Cricuit Joy. Ok, I actually bought it myself. Got some supplies and my goal is to sell vinyl decals and resin art. My friend already requested two decals for his laptop. But this...this is twosetviolin, my fav you tubers and I made this graphic. I'm going to print it out and personalize a blank zipper pouch as a test and see how it goes. I need some form of income while furloughed and I'm not expecting much,but really anything is helpful and I like to create stuff. It is worth a try, I think. The one thing about the machine is that it is limited to a cutting width of 4.5 inches but it should be enough that i can still make stuff with it like car decals and whatnot.

if I do ok enough I can get a bigger machine so I can make full on t shirts.

Megacolon Bunny

So it turns out that my bunny probably has some weird genetic intestinal disease called megacolon. She has had a very dirty bottom and urine scald but it turns out she is also anemic and underweight with low protein (other labs were normal) and black jelly like poops as well as poops of all shapes and sizes ranging from teeny tiny to big, rounded and egg shaped.

Since the diet change, the black poops stopped but the sizes and shapes are all over the place, but the important thing is that she gains weight, she is 3.5 lbs and needs to be 6, and used to weigh at least 5 lbs.

Ive spent $1,000 in vet bills (and I'm not making much anymore, job has been shut down since March) since the spring and I have to take Snowy again after Xmas but whatever, anything for my babies. She might be given medicines depending on what happens.

I made this vid for Halloween, would really love it if I had the black bedazzled cape the phantom wears but I'm still furloughed from work, I work for a non profit helping seniors with alzheimers and dementia and am very underpaid as it is. If theres a kind soul willing to get some black appliques and a generic black cape, paying for that isnt a problem but having one made from scratch would be.

For real, I've had a shitty three weeks. Been sick, causing me to miss all these cool events. Also caused mouth ulcers which yanno, hurt. Then a friend gets sarcastic and insults me so I don't want to remain friends with them right now.

So I was looking at Biden’s plans to help people with disabilities. Here’s some stuff he wants to do that would make a big, measurable difference:

- Increasing SSI benefits to at least 100% of the Federal Poverty Line (at the moment, this would be an increase of about $3000/year. That would be REALLY HELPFUL.)

- Increase the asset limits for SSI and SSDI - which haven’t been increased in more than 35 years. Right now if you have more than $2000 at any time, you lose your benefits.

- Marriage equality for disabled people! - For people on SSI be able to get married without losing our benefits! (As it stands right now, you can lose your benefits even if they suspect you’re ACTING like you’re married - the “holding out as married” rule.)

I’m about out of spoons tonight, but go read it! If even SOME of it gets passed, it could be really good!

This is in contrast to the Republican position, which is *checks notes* “If they’re going to die, they’d better do it, and decrease the surplus population”.

(Seriously, if Trump gets re-elected, I, and many other disabled people, will be so entirely fucked. He wants to destroy Social Security, I would be homeless and starving in the streets.)

SSDI has no asset limit, and SSI is considered a form of welfare and is meant for poor people who didn’t work enough to collect SSDI, hence why it has a 2000 resource limit. But if disabled under 26, you can open an ABLE account which doesn’t count for Medicaid and you can contribute something like 15k a year.

I have been baking, lol. Pesto mozzarella garlic knot crust pizza (my 5 year olds request) and from scratch apple pie, my first one ever. is it any wonder I've gained 7 lbs since March? The pizza is from scratch, too.

I live on Long Island. There was only a curfew for the 5 boroughs and it was NOT enforced. A few of my friends broke curfew, literally nothing happened. DeBlasio and Cuomo did this as a reaction to people rioting and destroying property, and the curfew is no more, anyway.

Bought this bad boy. Part keyboard, part guitar, 100 percent awesome. Now I don’t have to be stuck sitting down while playing. It can also go wireless and it has on board editing as well as an app for further editing.

Bunny is doing well and came home Wednesday, but I lost my job yesterday due to covid. Already filed for unemployment and thankfully was able to pay the $700 vet bill.

I live in New York, on Long Island, about an hour away from the boroughs. Due to Covid precautions (I am not sick), I wasn’t allowed to go in the office and be with my bunny during the exam, nor bring him into the building. This is how I had to say goodbye temporarily. He is sick with what seems to be kidney disease. I took him as soon as I realized he wasn’t eating, thinking it was stasis, which it kind of is, due to kidney issues. It’s hard to tell how bad it will be because dehydration influences creatanine and BUN levels. The levels are 3x the normal limit. The goal is to rehydrate him via iv fluids, get through the stasis, and get him eating. He’s at the hospital but it’s the best place for him. Tomorrow, his blood work will be repeated to see where he’s at.
