But what am I to do with this heart of love??

It longs for things beyond reach..

Each day a battle Between me and myself A war in my weary mind That leaves me wanting For you - and yet Not you

And even as I give myself away Something inside me hurts Because you’re not all I thought love would be

But even as I hurt I give myself to you Because you are all I have in this lonely moment

I would like to thank you

for the goodness you gave me

and the love in your looks

for the cloudy nights quietly made starry

by the calm in your eyes

I would like to apologize

for my selfish heart, shivering

secretly seeing but too afraid–

too unstably made to refrain

from the warmth you conveyed

I would like to say all this

aloud, but the sound I found

makes no progress past the pipes

and my eyes aren’t quite as poetic as yours

to make clear out of cloudy

Even when I’m anxious. Defeat it with rejoicing. God, I have been waking up so anxious each morning. Take my worries away and give me your peace. Help me to see you in every situation and to not fear so many things. I want to live in the freedom of trusting in your love and provision for me..

I have succeeded in life.. Lord, you have allowed me to reap the blood sweat and tears I have sown to show love to my family. You are the best. Now my family thinks so highly of me- my parents are telling me they’re challenged by me, my sister knows I love her and is coming into a better place! Hallelujah!! Victory is the Lord’s!!

Today in Experiencing God I learned that meekness is not always submitting to everyone. It’s knowing when He wants you to submit and when He does not.

I’m so sorry. But I’m so tired. You know that I tried. I tried my very best to love you with every ounce of strength. Out of obedience to the Lord. But now I need rest.
