king of fighters 99 was my first snk fighter (and one of the games that turned me away from rpgs and towards (home ports of) arcade games), so it’ll always have a special place in my memories~

Art of Fighting 3′s main draw was its large and fluid 3D sprites, done through a combination of motion capture and 3D modeling.
SNK would later revisit using 3D modeling to create detail sprite for KOF’s XII and XIII.
