I'd like to say something normal soon
Sorry boss i cant come into work tomorrow the old jolly king just slapped his belly and leaned back in his chair with a big leg of lamb in his hand and loudly declared that the festivities shall last all through the night
We can try and invent discourse as a joke all we want but nothing will compare to the real home grown takes on here such as hating landfillslop consumerism is actually Catholic
I think there's probably a moral element to doomerism where it's not just that they think that society is doomed, they think that it deserves to be doomed for its decadent and sinful ways, and they don't like the idea that it might somehow escape justice.
I relate on spiritual level to the great state of minnesota because I too am wailing loudly on this the first wednesday of the month
my impression of what itd be like if they let the connections guy say swears
(answers under the cut)
When Brutus says he's sick but he's stolen from his wholesome bed to dare the vile contagion of the night and tempt the rheumy and unpurged air to add unto his sickness.
Goodnight
The pic is so fake! Sesame Street would NEVER show night air on the show. The characters in Sesame Street all close their windows and draw their blinds as soon as the daylight ends, just in case. To stop the night air from walking around inside the house OR WORSE
the corpse of a flea became lodged in the frame of a porthole on the evening of June 3rd, 1802, preventing an airtight seal. 30 sailors were killed by ingestion of night air in their sleep
richard nixon is q*eer because he did watergate, subverting the societal expectation we all had for him to not do watergate
what if it was called magic the slathering and it was about lotions and ointments
I love living in 2026 because I go to Home Depot and buy a 5-gallon bucket for $4. I say I do not want an email receipt. They know my email anyway because I once ordered a mop online. They email me to ask how I like my 5-gallon bucket. I do not reply. They email me again. They would like my feedback. Reminder ‼️I have purchases to review. Did my 5 gallon bucket live up to my expectations? 3 minute survey!!

@melhuman:
Hundreds of people saying "I thought this was an SNL skit" as if SNL has ever had a good political skit
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
MODERATOR LARRY ELDER: Should someone have to have a government-issued license to drive a car?
UNKNOWN MAN IN GREY SUIT: Hello no!
DARRYL PERRY: What's next, requiring a license to make TOAST in your own damn TOASTER?
[audience clapping and cheering]
GARY JOHNSON: A...license to drive? You know, I'd like to see some competency exhibited by people...before they drive... [cut off by a loud boo from the audience]
[audience continues booing, gets noticeably louder]
