General reminder that I consider Arthur / his Joker personae to be set entirely separate of the main storylines and plots and timelines of the DC Batman and Joker stories. It’s just easier for me in general and allows us to develop plots that aren’t reliant on any specific canon / comic / movie etc.
Also, while Arthur / Joker are definitely a fan of chaos and have no problem with inciting or using violence, I don’t see the same inane cruelty in this portrayal as I do the more common appearances of Joker in the comics and movies and will be writing him as such. IE: he’s not going to necessarily be inclined to kill children, pregnant women, attack a hospital. Will he stop a plan just because there might be children / women etc around? No, but he won’t specifically target schools or hospitals etc. He also loathes any kind of abuse towards children and any kind of sexual abuse / violence and if anyone in his crew participates in such actions and he finds out about it, there will be suffering.
He is highly mentally unstable. He definitely suffers from bipolar disorder, a degree of narcissism that is fed into the longer he is in the role of Joker, he is a habitual thrill seeker and adrenaline junky, he has periods of time where delusion blurs with reality and he can’t tell the difference and so on.
In general, he’s a dangerous and unstable character. Be aware of all of the potential in character blow back and violence and such that can / will be present before following!
When sending memes, it’s super helpful if you note that they’re for Arthur or Joker - Arthur, being the character before and during the events of the movie and Joker, the king of crime himself, post movie events.
