today, to get our site buzz really kicking, we’re opening our character development challenge! this is an easy one—if you’ve been part of a site buzz before, you know what to do! simply post any blurbs, graphics, etc. pertaining to your characters, whether they’re new or old. we welcome anyone you want to bring onboard! please be sure not to use any faces for your graphics unless you’re an old member bringing back an old character! our pre-existing member and staff reserves will be finalized tomorrow morning so you can check them out.
be sure to tag your creations with #playrpdev. we’ll choose winners randomly this thursday, july 25. winners will receive an extra face claim reserve in advance of the site’s grand re-opening.
we can’t wait to see what you come up with, and welcome—or welcome back—to playrp! we’ll continue to share updates with you over the next several days, including early reserves, previews of our new skin and more!

you guys have made this experience such a positive and fun one and we are so infinitely grateful for all of your lovely faces in the tag. it truly warms our hearts to see all the development that’s been happening and how receptive and kind everyone has been!
today we’ll be releasing two very important things, first our discord - so you can all get to know each other better and find plots with more ease!! please be mindful when joining the discord to keep triggering topics out of the main chat and try to practice some positivity and kindness. we want everyone to feel comfortable and happy at the end of the day.
we’ll also be releasing our apps!! we have three beautiful apps coded by the lovely peach!! all with variations to hopefully accommodate anyone - from those that love freestyles to those that rather hammer out more detail oriented apps. their previews and respective codes will be linked below so you can all get a head start.
