Staring at his uncle in disbelief, Minjun held in his hand a Gingerbread man cookie ornament that he had personally picked out at the store. A small memory he had each year from when Jaemin would bake Gingerbread men cookies for everyone. Always making special mini ones for him when he knew he couldn't finish one whole big one.
"Min?" Jaemin felt like he had been holding his breath for the longest. His first thought was that Haechan would have gotten mad, but was surprised when he had gotten a pat on the back and a congratulations from him.
Seeing the red hue blooming even more from his cheeks, Sua tries to explain to her three year old again. "Sweetheart, you'll still be my baby-"
"You lied!" Minjun yelled. "You promised me I was the only baby! You lied!"
"Baby, you are-" Sua tried again, only to be yelled at again by her three year old toddler.
"No! You lied!" Minjun accused. "If I am your baby, then why are you having another baby with uncle Nana!?"
At the sound of the ornament being thrown at Jaemin's knee, Minjun ran off and out of the Taeyong's house that was holding the big Christmas party that everyone had organized.
Sighing, Jeno volunteered to run after the baby hound. Letting Haechan to talk to Sua and Jaemin that were expecting a baby after a crazy one-night stand.
"Minjun! Minjunnie, wait!" Jeno called out, catching up to the toddler. "Kiddo, c'mon..."
Sniffling, Minjun wailed as Jeno scooped him up in his arms. His little heart not taking well to becoming an older brother.
"Mommy lied!" He cried to Jeno. "She promised I was her only baby!"
"And you are, pup. Your daddy and mommy were so happy when you were born." Ruffling his hair, Jeno smiled sweetly in the only way he knew how to make someone feel comfortable. "But didn't you say that you would be happy if your dad and NingNing had a baby together, that you would be happy to become a big brother?"
Frowning as he got his belly button poked by Jeno, Minjun pouted and looked down.
"How is it different that your mommy is having a baby with Jaemin?"
"Because he's uncle Nana! It's gross!" Minjun cries again, hiding his face in Jeno's chest while he chuckled at the toddlers explanation.
"I guess it is gross." Jeno nodded. "But what if they're happy?"
Looking up from Jeno's chest, the toddler eyes him with glossy red eyes as he continues. "I wasn't happy when your daddy and mommy got pregnant and had you, but I saw that they were happy together. And seeing that they were happy to have you... it didn't matter anymore if I didn't like your mommy."
"You don't like my mommy?" Minjun suddenly asked, his eyes widening.
"That's not the point." Jeno quickly quiets him before the toddler could argue with him. "The point is, as long as two adults are happy and have a baby together, then everyone should be happy for them."
"I don't think Baekhyun is happy for them." Tiffany suddenly pops up behind them as she smiles from behind her scarf.
"Tiffany." Jeno growled at the pup hybrid.
Smiling sheepishly, she shrugs. "I'm sorry, but he's literally making ugly faces at them right now." Pouting her lips, she knew the instant that Minjun's attitude had sky rocketed down to the earth when Sua and Jaemin announced their sudden surprise pregnancy. "But I can assure you that Haechan is actually happy about it." She says. "He gave Jaemin a hug."
Holding on tightly to Jeno's hoodie, Minjun stared at Tiffany. He couldn't believe his own father was okay with the whole announcement.
"Why can't uncle Nana just marry the oven then? He can have babies with his oven." Minjun pouted, making Jeno and Tiffany to choke on air.
"I don't think that's possible..." Tiffany whispered.
"It's not." Jeno shook his head, trying to compose himself back as Minjun continued on complaining.
"Or why doesn't he have babies with the lady from the supermarket? He always says that she's sweet when she gives him a free sample!"
Tiffany giggled. "I think he's being polite about it."
"What about Nikki? She said his cookies were tasty!"
Jeno looked at Tiffany, the same idea coming to both of them. "Nikki was only being nice because her tummy needed cookies."
As the toddler went on and on, Haechan stood by the front door of Taeyong's house. His eyes catching on to his toddler arguing with Jeno and Tiffany.
"I really broke our son's promise and heart, huh?" Sua says as she comes to stand next to Haechan.
Letting out a breathy laugh, Haechan smirked. "At least I'm not the horrible parent."
"Fuck you, asshole." Huffing, Sua pushed his shoulder. "Don't you have a wedding to plan with NingNing?" Sticking her tongue out at him, she frowns.
"I do, actually." Haechan grinned. "And unlike you, I'm actually marrying her and taking her on a nice long honeymoon." He said, making sure to enunciate each letter of honeymoon only to get slapped on his back by her.
As time was approaching, Changkyun felt like he was having panic attack after panic attack. Running from one end of the city and back to the pack territory, he held the steering wheel of his car tightly. Knuckles turning white as he waited for the light to turn green once again.
"You're doing it again." Minjun pointed out as he was sat in the back seat with his best friend Eunji.
"My mommy say that's because he's mad." The 3 year old girl says as she kicked her feet front her car seat.
Snickering, Minjun passed his gold fish cookies to her. "He's been like that since pancake morning."
Groaning from the driver's seat, Kyun didn't think that bringing the kids along would result in him being bashed by them instead of by Ten or Chenle.
"Can you both please stop?"
"Nope!" Both 3 year olds giggled loud as he sighed, driving once again as the light turned green.
"How does it feel?" Turning left and right as he stared at himself in the mirror provided, Kyun couldn't help but smile at how his suit looked.
"It feels perfect."
"You look like a sardine." Minjun squeaked as he held Eunji. Both kids laughing again at him as the man that was helping Kyun covers his mouth from laughing.
Closing his eyes and rubbing the bridge of his nose, Kyun was fighting a smile. "That's it. I'm calling Haechan to come pick you two up."
"Nooooo!"
"You promised us happy meals!" Eunji whined, dragging Minjun with her to the floor as they both wailed in sadness.
Looking over to the sales man, Kyun smiled and nodded to him. A pair of hands clapped as an employee came out from the back with a tray that had 2 happy meals and drinks for the kids.
"Who said I was breaking a promise?" Chuckling as both Minjun and Eunji looked from their dramatic whines on the carpeted floor, their eyes looked comical as they widened at the sight of what they were promised. Fresh hot chicken nuggets, fries, apple slices and two hi-c drinks along with 2 toys.
"Now behave." Kyun said as he turned back to see that his handcuffs would match for his wedding. Hearing the small chatter of how good the fast food was, he smiled looking down.
Maybe life would be like this once he got married to the love of his life. Have children and spoil them along with his future wife.
Kicking a rock in the driveway, Haechan sighs as he misses the basketball that Sunwoo had passed him.
"Sua again?" The younger wolf asks as he runs to get the ball again. Noticing how Haechan hadn't paid attention to their game they had going on.
Making a face, Haechan shrugs. "She keeps asking when I'll get married to Ningning." He grumbles. "I don't need help proposing to a girl I love!"
"Right, because you've done it a dozen times before..." Sunwoo muttered under his breathe, grinning to Haechan when he knows he heard him. The glare evident on the tan hound.
"So, how's it going with making your home more... girly for her?" Sunwoo asks, shooting the basketball towards the hoop and making it in.
Haechan thinks for a moment, his head tilting out of habit from watching Tiffany tilt her head like the pup that she is.
"I've switched the softener to the one she uses." He says with a hum. "Ning always smells so good when we cuddle." Sighing softly, Haechan smiles like a lovesick fool. "She smells even better when she's ovulating-"
"Alright, shut it." Hanbin groans, walking over with a water bottle in his hand. "My son doesn't need to know how good your girls' ovulation smells." He mumbles. "Pig."
Following behind him, Tiffany smiles shyly as she holds a dove she had found that was hurt. "Where's Minjun? I've been looking for him and can't seem to find him."
"Oh," Haechan scratches his cheek in thought. "I think he's with Jake. Something about getting rocks for a village or town that they were going to build."
"Rock Town." Sunwoo snickers from beside him.
Nodding, the pup hybrid makes to turn around but freezes once she sees Jake and Minjun come back. Just not alone.
"Uh... guys?" Tiffany gets out as a shiver of fear goes down her spine.
"Hey! Guess who we found!" Jake smiles as he carries a bag full of rocks and pebbles.
Minjun clings to Jeno, having gotten a quick rinse in the pond to be a bit more presentable for his pack.
Eyes wide and mouth slightly falling open, Haechan couldn't help but hear a ringing in his ears.
"Sorry I left without saying anything..." Jeno says, already knowing he'll get a beating from Haechan and Taeyong. "I just didn't want him to take Min..."
"You piece of shit." Haechan snarled as his eyes changed color as well as his claws growing out on his fingers.
"Jake, quick. Get Minjun!" Hanbin quickly steered Tiffany along with him. Knowing that both hounds were about to hurt each other. "Sunwoo, get Kai!" Hanbin yelled, just as a loud growl came from Haechan.

Playing by the pond that was near his home. Minjun was collecting rocks that Jake had told him would look nice for their rock village that they were planning.
The three year old pouted when he saw a small fish in the pond. "Where's your mama?" He asks the small fish. Squating by the edge, Minjun dips a small finger into the water and giggles as the fish bumps its mouth to his finger.
Leaving the small fish to swim around, Minjun stands up with a small round pebble he had found in the water. His eyes raising up and seeing someone standing on the other side of the pond.
His skin looked dirty, almost charcoal like. Mist coming off of him as if he had a steaming hot shower.
Minjun furrowed his eyebrows at the man. "Papa?" He asks, his small hand dropping the pebble as tears welled up in his eyes. "Papa!"
Crying, Minjun stretched his arms out as the hound came over to him. Stepping through the pond and scooping up Minjun into his fit arms.
"Hey, kiddo," Jeno smiled as he held his little pup he had taken care of since birth. "Happy that I'm back?"
"I really didn't sign up for this..." Hanbin sighed as he pushed a swing which held a plushie in it.
The two toddlers giggling and laughing as they were in their own swings next to him, Jake pushing them both and laughing along.
"What's wrong, Bin? Don't like pushing Bo?" Jake asked in his heavily Australian accent. His big smile not fading as he pushed the toddlers on the swings more.
"Bo, want more up!" Eunji squeals as Jake pushes her swing a notch more up.
"Yeah! Bo more up!" Giggling as his little feet flew up with him, Minjun's cheeks start getting red from happiness.
"But it's just a plushie?" Hanbin sighed, pushing the swing that held the bunny plush in it even harder. Not realizing the strength of his push, he sends the bunny plush flying through the air. A loud scream coming from Eunji as she sees her beloved plushie fall on the ground.
"Shit." Hanbin whispered once he realized what he had done by accident. "Jiji, I'm sorry!"
"You hurt Bo!!"
Seeing what had happened, Minjun stares at the plushie on the ground. His instant reaction to get down when Jake had stopped their swings and rush over to get it, but only to stop when he sees another kid pick it up.
Looking up, he finds a boy around their age. A kind look shined in the new kid as Minjun saw that he had oddly pink hair with black below the pink, almost like he had an undercut.
Running over to see how her plushie was, Eunji was crying. "B-bo..."
Smiling to the young girl, the new kid wipes off the dirt from bunny plush. Making sure it wasn't as dirty anymore as he handed it back to Eunji.
"Here," The new kid said. "Bo's going to be okay."
Minjun never thought he would feel such an ugly emotion before, but he knew deep down in his gut that he didn't like how this new pink haired kid smiled to Eunji.
Trying to grab Eunji's hand so they could return to the swings, Minjun's face falls when she dodges his hand in favor of hugging the new kid.
"That was such a nice thing to do, Yuji." An older man's voice is heard, footsteps following as a man with similar pink hair approaches.
Jake and Hanbin immediately coming closer to see if the man was friendly.
"Hi, my name is Jin Itadori." The tall man smiled just like the kid named Yuji had. "And this is my son Yuji. We're kind of new to the area."
Shaking the outstretched hand of Jin, Hanbin nods and smiles for once when he senses that they didn't mean harm.
"Well welcome, uh..." Looking to his right, he sees Jake smile back. "I'm Hanbin, and this is Jake. We're babysitting for some friends." Looking down to the children, he points to Minjun and Eunji, introducing them as well.
"Itadori? Isn't that-"
"We're from Japan." Jin smiles, readjusting his glasses on the bridge of his nose. "We previously lived in Sendai until we moved closer to my twin brother in Tokyo." Scratching at his chin, Jin looks around as if he was searching for someone. "Speaking of, my brother also came with us. Don't know where he is..."
"Wanna go to the slide?" Yuji asked, his eyes sparkling as he kept smiling to Eunji while the adults chatted away.
"No. Jiji and I were on swings." Minjun frowned as he pulled Eunji closer to him. Making sure that this kid, Yuji, knew that she was his friend.
"We go to slide, please?" Giving him her best puppy dog eyes, even though Minjun was a hellhound and a pro at giving people puppy dog eyes to get his way. Minjun couldn't help but give into her.
Smiling big once Minjun's shoulders dropped, Eunji tugged him with her as they ran after Yuji to go on the jungle gym's slide.
Minjun swore he liked every person he met, even if they would scowl and glare all the time like Kai and Ravi do. He still liked them.
But by all gods and moons, he knew he hated Yuji Itadori with all his might once he saw him kiss Eunji's cheek that he so badly wanted to kiss for so long.
"What's gotten you all huffy?" Hanbin asked once Jake came back from the park bathrooms. The younger hound sporting a disgusted frown he had never seen before.
"So asshole is in the men's bathroom... having sex with some girl." Jake whispers to him. Sitting back down on the bench with him, his arms crossing as they looked out to where the 3 kids were playing on the playground.
"Did you see who it was?" Hanbin nonchalantly asks, glancing to where Jin was talking on the phone with someone.
"No, but he had on those expensive shoes I've been wanting to get for so long." Mumbling from his slouched position on the park bench, Jake looks off to the side when he hears someone approach.
His and Hanbin's senses alerting them to someone with bad vibes.
"No fucking way..."
Rasing their eyes to see the man approach Jin with a bored expression on his face, Hanbin turned to Jake. Noticing the disgust come back to him when they stare at the tall muscular man with the same pink hair as Jin and Yuji, only spiked up out of his forehead.
"That's the asshole who was having sex in a public bathroom!" Jake whispers.
"Hey guys, my brother is finally here." Jin smiles, walking back over to them once he had hung up his call. "I wanted to introduce you to Sukuna."
"Guess you can say, we already met..." Jake mumbled under his breath, getting a tilt of his head by Sukuna as the tall man eyed him.
"What was that?" Sukuna raises an eyebrow, almost challenging Jake to repeat what he had said.
"You could say we already met." Jake smiled sarcastically. "I mean, you and Jin are twins after all."
"That we are, although Sukuna had the rebellious phase to get face tattoos and all..." Shaking his head, Jin sees the kids run back to them. Yuji smiling as big as ever as he held Eunji's hand while Minjun glared at his son.
He most likely found it that Minjun was jealous of how easy it was for Yuji to befriend Eunji.
"Ready to go home?" Jin asked his son.
"Can't we play a bit more?"
"We want to go home!" Minjun hurried to take Eunji's hand away from Yuji, hoping he would take the hint to go to his own home as well and never seen them again.
"We still need to take Eunji back home." Hanbin agreed, making Minjun sigh in relief. "Hey, I guess you could find us here again next time? Or maybe Minjun's dad, he sometimes comes here with him and Eunji for their play dates."
"What about Eunji's parents?"
"Ah, Eunji's mom recently had twin boys. But I'll let her know and see if she'll come out. Her husband does work a lot." Chatting awfully a lot for today, Hanbin glanced to Sukuna when he saw him turn to him when he mentioned Eunji's mother.
Getting a bad feeling about Sukuna all afternoon, Jake picks up Eunji so that Minjun would stop glaring at Yuji. "Right, so it was nice meeting you all."
Saying their goodbyes, Hanbin follows Jake who had walked faster than he had ever seen him before. Confused to why he was quick to wanting to leave.
"I don't like Yuji." Minjun immediately said once he was buckled up into his car seat along with Eunji next to him.
"Yuji funny."
"I'm funny!"
Smiling to her friend, Eunji giggled when Minjun began rant about how he was better than Yuji. All the while Hanbin drove them all off to McDonald's for some post playground fun.
"And why do you not like Sukuna?" Keeping his eyes on the road, he could sense something was off with Sukuna when they met him. Always on top of how people felt, Hanbin also knew that Jake was on edge after having come back from the public bathroom and seeing Sukuna's face for the first time. "Heard something concerning?"
Rolling his eyes, Jake scoffed as his arms were still crossed over his chest. "Oh I heard a lot." He said with another roll of his eyes. "I heard how big he is. And it's not something you want to hear when you're trying to piss, mate."
Letting out a chuckle, Hanbin shook his head as he got the car in line at the McDonald's drive-thru. "Definitely not." He agreed. "But honestly, what's gotten into you?" He asked. "Didn't like the tattoos he has? How he's as big as a monster? Or was it the shoes you've been wanting-"
"It's not about the shoes, mate!" Sighing himself, Jake nibbled on his lower lip and fiddled with his phone. "There's something not right with him... and I don't say it that he's a jerk. But..." Listening as the kids in the backseat were talking about the playground still, Jake lowers his voice so only Hanbin could hear him. "I think there's something really dark about him. Like some evil inside him that reminds me of this mate in Japan I once met."
Listening to him as he inched the car forward a bit, Hanbin starts to get concerned. "Like who?"
"Like Suguru." Jake mentions. "The cult leader who I told you was such a nice guy before, but somehow he got too depressed and mad over how people lived so carelessly and free." Looking up to his elder hound friend, Jake clenches his jaw. "I think there's something more to this Sukuna guy that Jin doesn't know about..."
For the third time in 10 minutes, Lisa slapped Mark’s hand away from her cake. “If I have to tell you to stop one more time I’m going to stick this fork in your hand,” she promised, waving her fork at him. Her threats were only met with a smile as Mark leaned closer from across the table.
“I don’t see why you’re being so stingy. You always used to share with me,” he pouted, grabbing her empty hand… just in case. He idly spun her stunning oval-cut engagement ring around her finger and sighed. “You know, when you left I always thought you’d come back to me,” he said softly before she pulled her hand away, “not… not this… engaged to someone else.” He ducked his head and chuckled almost sadly. “I would have guessed it was Jungkook you let me for. Did you even get my letters?” The hurt that clouded his eyes made Lisa push the cake closer to him.
This was a conversation she hoped to never have in her life. “I did,” she admitted, “but I never read them. I couldn’t let you pull me back, Mark. That wouldn’t have been fair to either of us.” She avoided his gaze knowing it would only make this harder.
“Did the thought of marrying me seem that bad?” he asked finishing the cake between them.
“Yes.” Her answer was straight to the point. “I was a different girl then. I was suffocating under every expectation from you and my parents. I tried telling you but-”
“I wouldn’t listen,” he finished for her. “And now? What’s changed?” He tilted his head and tried to read her face. The way she stared back would normally infuriate him but he could see the gears turning in her brilliant mind. “Do you remember the time we snuck out and went to the lake?” His sudden change of topic caught Lisa off guard. “The second time… not the first.”
The memory made her laugh, a sound that echoed in the kitchen. “I remember you having a black eye for a week after if that’s what you’re asking,” she reached across the table and tapped his left cheek. “I don’t think Jaebeom forgave you either.” Mark stood and pushed his chair back before offering his hand.
“Let me take you to get some coffee and fresh air. I’ll even leave a note so your brother doesn’t think I kidnapped you… again,” his request didn’t leave much room to argue, except it was Lisa and it was what she did best. She leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms across her chest.
“And if I say no?” she challenged him, holding her chin up defiantly.
“Then I’ll ask again later today, and tomorrow, and the next day until you say yes,” he said matter of factly. “I’m not going to sit around and watch you waste away in shadows. You belong in the sunshine for everyone to see.” He wiggled the fingers on his still-extended hand, waiting patiently for her answer.
“Fine,” Lisa laughed, taking his hand. “just please leave that note. I don’t want to see you with another black eye.”
As Thanksgiving came and went, an awkward tension arose between the hounds. Christmas becoming the most feared holiday for them as they all reunited in the mansion that Taeyong had gotten constructed for reunions.
"Sua, where's the tape?" Haechan grumbled as he held down some wrapping paper over a gift he had gotten last minute for Minjun.
The said toddler screaming at Mark and Jake as he played tag with them in the living room.
"I gave it to Johnny." The female wolf points at the tall hound that was by the Christmas tree.
Looking over to them, Johnny shakes his head as he holds an ornament in his hand. "I gave it to Jaehyun. Said he needed to tape the wall decorations back up since Chenle messed up."
Groaning from the floor, Haechan looks around the second floor where they were. Grabbing a slipper nearby and placing it on top of the wrapping paper to keep it secure on the gift.
"Don't let-"
"Don't let Minjun touch it." Sua and Johnny say unison before he could finish. Gaining a look from the hound.
"We know." Johnny chirped as he placed another ornament on the second tree they had for the second living room on the second floor. "Maybe Chan might know where there's more tape."
With a sigh, Haehcan nods as he gives them both another glance before leaving downstairs to look for Chan.
"Are you sure he went this way?"
"I don't know! He zoomed past us before I could catch him." Mark and Jake had already lost Minjun again after the toddler had tagged them both before sprinting off to hide again.
"Did you two seriously lose my child?" Haechan asks as he makes his way into the kitchen where he finds Chan and Jaemin at the stoves and Mark and Jake standing by the kitchen island.
Slowly turning to find him looking at them, both men shake their heads slowly. "No..." Jake answers slowly.
"He's just good at hiding." Mark says as they leave quickly, not wanting to get chewed out by Haechan.
Ignoring them as he approaches Chan, Haechan already could hear Minjun giggling somewhere within the mansion.
"Hey, Chris." He glances over his shoulder at whatever he was cooking. "Know where-"
"Drawer next to Jaemin's hip, mate." The aussie responds as he adds some spices to his recipe.
Nodding his head, Haechan leaves him to his cooking and goes to where Jaemin was kneading some dough.
"Gingerbread cookies?" Haechan asks, getting a glance from Jaemin. "Why aren't you using the mixer?"
Closing his eyes, Jaemin breathes out a frustrated sigh. "I would, if it weren't for Jake letting Minjun use it for his play dough last week..." He says as he continue with his dough.
Eyes widening and flashbacks to hearing someone yell along with the smell of smoke from last week, Haechan grabs the new tape roll from the drawer next to Jaemin and leaves the kitchen without another word.
"It's so cold outside!" Tiffany shivers with the hoodie she had on, the hybrid pup following Nikki as they had come back from the store after Taeyong had asked them to get more ingredients for Chan. "I'm not built like a wolf or a hound like everyone else!" She whined to her twin sister.
Placing the bags she held down by their feet, Nikki rolled her eyes at her sister. "I told you to ask one of the guys for a coat." She tells her. "If Selina was here, she wouldn't be a baby like you about the cold weather..." She sighed, getting a slap to her arm by the hybrid pup.
Stopping just mere feet from the two, Haechan stares at them as he thinks back to how both woman had been avoiding him since Halloween. Not even a small smile or hello had he gotten from them since.
Placing the roll of tape in his back pocket, he slowly approaches the werewolf and hybrid pup. Both women not aware of him getting close as they were having an argument about the cold weather and sweaters.
"Ladies," he says in such a suave and deep voice. Both his arms quick to wrap around each of their waists as he catches them like prey. A sudden yelp coming from Tiffany and growl coming from Nikki as he startles them. "Nice to see you both again. Although... I think you've been avoiding me lately."
Eyeing him suspiciously, Nikki huffs as she tries to pry his arm from around her waist. "Not avoiding, just busy." The werewolf answers him.
Seeing how she was acting, noting it was probably a man who she had taken a liking too, Haechan let's her go first. "Right..." He nods slowly. "Do you think fast, Nick?" He asks her, seeing how Sunwoo was walking towards them on his phone.
"Huh?" Beginning to raise an eyebrow, Nikki doesn't act fast when Haechan shoves her onto a couch and shoves Sunwoo onto her before picking up Tiffany and running off with her to a room to talk with her.
"What the f-" Blushing as he sees that he's on top of the female werewolf that he's had a crush on recently, Sunwoo smiles down at her nervously. His phone long forgotten as she stares back up at him with confusion and shock across her face.
"Oh- um..." Blinking his eyes, Renjun blushes at the two as he walks by. Covering his eyes and running away as Hanbin comes in walking behind him and stops as he spots his son on top of female werewolf.
"So you're finally going to mark your territory?" Hanbin asks as he takes his wallet out and searches for something.
"Ter-ritory?" Sunwoo goes to ask, but is hit in the face by something his father had thrown at him. Picking it up, both Sunwoo and Nikki start to blush at the foil packet in Sunwoo's hand.
"If she's not ready for pups yet, then wrap it up first." Hanbin nonchalantly tells him as he leaves the living room. Leaving the two wolves in pure embarrassment.
"Get the fuck off of me." Pushing off Sunwoo, Nikki shivers and runs off to hide. Not looking back at how Sunwoo stares at her with a face as red as a tomato.
"Alright, Tiffy." Haechan says once he has the hybrid pup all alone with him in a room where they could talk without her running off or one of the others interrupting them. "Be a good girl and answer me honestly." He says in the most gentle voice he can with such a fragile little thing the hybrid was.
Feeling as her heart was about to jump out of her chest, Tiffany stares at Haechan as if he had a vaccination needle in his hand. God, she hated the doctor visits.
"Do you know what happened on Halloween when Jake and I went to the store?"
Clutching onto the hoodie she wore, almost as if clutching her pearls. Tiffany's eyes were giving off a fearful puppy eyed look. Nodding her head, she backs up when Haechan takes a step closer to her. She felt as if she was the prey to his predator.
"Did something bad happen?" Haechan asks again, noticing how the hybrid pup kept walking backwards each time he walked forward to her.
Thinking back to how Kai and Ravi had given her lessons on how to lie to Haechan about what happened on Halloween night. The hybrid swallows and nods again.
"Hmm, and what happened?" Haechan asks, watching how Tiffany falls back on the bed of the guest room. Approaching her a bit more as he follows her on the bed, knees digging into the mattress as he cages her down underneath him. He could smell the chemical signals she was giving off as well as hear her heartbeat.
"If he ever corners you, you dodge his question with a different answer." Ravi had taught Tiffany and Nikki how to avoid telling Haechan the truth with a different truth.
"He's easy to manipulate." Kai says. "He's a man, just spread your legs if he has you underneath and let him feel your warmth." He shrugged, getting a look from Nikki.
Swallowing as she stared up at the hell hound, Tiffany slowly slides her legs up and around Haechan's waist. Instantly becoming submissive for him as she blinked up at him. "We... we uh..."
Eyeing down at what she was doing, Haechan suddenly felt dizzy as he felt how warm she was. The rut suppressants he had been using, failing him as he felt his hound whine at him to feel her, but knowing Ningning would get upset with him. He stops himself from pressing his lower half down onto the poor pup. Hell, he knew that Taeyong would be coming in through the guest room door any minute now if he didn't hurry his investigation on where Jeno was.
The moon god knew if Taeyong saw Haechan trying to touch Tiffany in anyway, his leader would rip him to shreds in an instant.
"We... almost burnt your house down..." Tiffany whined from underneath him, not exactly lying to him after her and Chenle had tried to make popcorn the old fashioned way on the stove after they had found Minjun.
Chenle had told her he knew how to make kernels pop on a pan and cooking oil, but ultimately they almost burnt the kitchen down when Chenle had poured so much cooking oil by the time they kept screaming at each other to call an actual adult.
Raising an eyebrow down at her, Haechan was about to ask her his next question that pertained to Jeno's whereabouts when the door to the guest room what thrown open and a growl could be heard from behind him.
"Are cookies almost done?" Minjun asked after he had gotten bored from playing tag with Mark and Jake. The two hounds trying to catch their breathes after chasing the toddler once they had found him hiding in one of the rooms.
Glancing down where he felt a tug at his pants, Jaemin smiled at the little boy and nodded as he had finished one batch of Gingerbread cookies in the oven. "Almost." He promised him. "We just need to decorate them once they're done from the oven."
Smiling wide as he jumped up and down in excitement, Minjun stayed by Jaemin as they heard a loud growl and clash from the second floor of the mansion.
"What was that?" Chan turned to look at Jaemin who looked equally as confused as him from the sound.
Coming into the kitchen for some water, Lucas sipped some as he leaned on the kitchen counter. "Taeyong's beating Donghyuck's ass." He simply answered. "Caught him interrogating the cute pup hybrid... in an interesting way."
Groaning as he held the back of his head that was bleeding after being thrown off of Tiffany, Haechan found his way back to where Sua and Johnny had finished decorating the second living room.
"The hell happened to you?" Johnny asked him, seeing how Haechan's shirt was almost ripped and he was bleeding.
Snickering as she knew what possibly happened, Sua leaned on her hands behind her as she was sat on the floor. "Good old predator trap, huh?"
Glaring at his former partner, he takes the roll of tape he had in his back pocket and drops it on the ground. "Taeyong found Tiff and I in one of the guest rooms..."
"Whore." Sua teased him.
Shaking his head, Johnny looked at him disappointed. "What did we agree on? No trying to bite the girls when they're over."
"I didn't try to bite her!" Haechan tried to argue.
"Please don't tell me you tried to seduce her. That poor girl already has enough with Taeyong chasing her around." Rolling her eyes, Sua knew how much of hoe her ex was.
"I didn't do that either!" Haechan looked exasperated between the two that stared at him as if they didn't believe him at all. "I only cornered her to ask if she's seen Jeno since everyone doesn't give me updates on him."
"We already told you, Hyuck." Johnny smoothly lies to him. "He went abroad to help the pack in Beacon Hills."
"Good luck to him. Apparently, they have a Kanima to tame." Sua mumbled, lying as well without Haechan noticing.
With a pout on his lips, Haechan sighed once he heard the doorbell ring downstairs. Changkyun rushing by them as he was expecting his fiancé and friends to come by for the holidays with them.

Nikki: *yelps as she looks up at who grabbed her this time* Well, since those mutts are out of their minds, I was thinking of hiding. *looks around quickly* Also, I want to hide from that blushing mutt...
Jaemin: I would've babysat, but I don't trust the others with baking cookies after Chenle and Tiffany almost burnt Hyuck's kitchen *smiles and nods* I'm doing different ones for everyone to taste!
Nikki: I do like staying where I feel the most comfortable *grins and hugs his waist* What are you siblings up to today?
Jaemin: Candied ginger, huh? *rubs his chin in thought* I don't think I've done that before... *smiles and nods his head* I'm going to try it! Got a recipe for it?
"Are we sure that she'll like this?" Changkyun asked for the nth time as he watched how Sua had roped Tiffany and Nikki into helping him set up for the most extravagant Valentine's day surprise for his fiancé.
After having been called out that a simple breakfast date, chocolates, roses and a lunch date was too boyish.
Minjun having made a face as well when he came along and heard what his uncle had in mind.
"I think I would be swoon by the rose petals on the floor." Tiffany chirps as she inflates another balloon.
"You would be swoon by anything, pup." Nikki smiled to her as she ties another string to the balloon that Tiffany passes to her.
Giggling as he ran around chasing balloons, Minjun bumps into Hanbin and Sunwoo that came into Changkyun's house.
Whistling, Hanbin nods in approval. "Does she know she's getting married on Valentine's?" He jokes, patting Changkyun's shoulder as he passes by to see the living room from a different point of view.
With his hands in his pockets, Sunwoo eyes everything and smiles as his gaze turns to Nikki.
"Well... we haven't discussed when the wedding will be." Changkyun nervously passed another rose to Sua who scattered them some more around the dinner table. "Although I have thought of other things already."
Smiling as he could see his future with Lisa, Changkyun had began to see a future where they were the typical lovey-dovey family. His future wife round and glowing with their third child, their other two kids running around as he helped around like a dedicated husband would.
Hell, he even thought of moving to a different home. Somewhere private, somewhere with a nice backyard for his future kids to run around in. Somewhere still close to the city for grocery shopping and his new job.
Snapping his fingers in front of his face, Hanbin chuckled at his best friend. "You're zoning out on us again, Daniel." He says, mentioning Changkyun's middle name. "Daydreaming about the future again?"
Smiling, flustered once again. Changkyun nods and passes Sua another rose. "Can't help it." He says, turning towards to Minjun when they hear him scream and cry from one of the balloons suddenly popping.
Walking around his house as he set the last of the few touches needed for his beloved's birthday. Changkyun could sense Sua and Minjun come in. The toddler not being sneaky once he sees balloons in the living room.
"I see that you're learning." Sua smiles as she takes a look around, proud that he had planned out a nice birthday party for his fiancé by himself.
"Well, after you and the girls taught me a few things about Pinterest. I couldn't help but get a few ideas for today." Changkyun says as he looks up from setting the birthday cake on the dinner table.
"Think, Lisa will like it?" Changkyun asked as he moves aside for Jaemin to come from the kitchen to place a platter of sweets.
"If Jaemin is here as your chef..." Sua hums, glancing towards her kid that was playing with a balloon. The wolf smiles, turning back to him. "I bet she'll love it." She says, approving. "But, I thought Haechan was going to help cook too? Where the hell is that man?"
"Ah." Jaemin turns, a spoon in his hand. "I saw him leave early in the morning. I think he's been going on dates with NingNing or sleeping over at hers."
"Mingming call daddy!" Minjun chirped from the living room. All three adults turning to look at him. "He said he go shopping with her because he wants her to live with us!"
"I'm not surprised." Sua tries not to laugh over how her son just told them what her ex and father to their son was up to lately. "I think he finally found the one."
"Thank god." Jaemin mumbled from the kitchen. "I was tired of hearing him being a hoe."
"Hose?" Minjun asked as he ran over to look up at his uncle Jaemin.
"No no, sweetheart. No hose today. We're not going to play with the water." Sua glared at the hound as she picked up her toddler. Smacking Jaemin on the back as she moved to exit. "We'll leave you two to continue prepping her birthday."
"Bye!" Minjun yelled as they left Changkyun and Jaemin.
"You really can't stop cursing in front of him, can you?" Changkyun teased, hearing how Jaemin sighed by the stove.
"He's literally like a mini Haechan. It's natural instinct." Jaemin shrugged, glancing back to his elder. "Done with setting the table?"
"Done."
"Get dressed then. The steak is almost ready and you should go pick her up."
