"why is the character like that" >look inside character >it's the author's subconscious attempt to love themself
this is meant positively by the way. sometimes you love the character so much you end up putting a piece of yourself in it to learn how it is to love yourself without realising and thats ok.

going down a non bat superhero tag be like: Batman post, Batman post, Batman post that explicitly belittles the tagged superhero, more disrespect, post that doesn’t even mention the tag but says justice league in it, GOOD POST, good analysis but somehow still about Batman, ship art with Batman, post that has nothing to do with the tag or the fandom, the most incorrect take you’ve ever heard, more disrespect, take based on a spin-off animated show that hated he character, GOOD ART, just a genuinely confusing take, Batman post, Batman post, Batman post.

As the only Captain America fan in the world; Is Steve’s birthday actually on the 4th of July?
The answer, as with most things like this, is It Depends.
The first, as far as I can remember, instance of Steve's birthdate being mentioned comes from the late 70s. I actually can't remember what run this is specifically, as it comes from a very awkward middle period in Captain America where the creative teams kept changing before Roger Stern and John Byrne came aboard, but it's around that time period and apparently Steve was an Aquarius.
From then, Steve's birthdate isn't really acknowledged much. He is shown as celebrating America's birthday in the Jack Kirby pin-up in Bicentennial Battles, but obviously that's not quite the same and it doesn't seem to be his birthday.
Then, the original Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty from the 90s does say that Steve was born July 4th, although I'm pretty sure this comic is an AU to 616 as it creates quite a few characters that are original to this series and doesn't quite... make sense.
I don't remember Steve's birth date being mentioned in any subsequent Cap runs all that much, although his age when he becomes Cap does change from here as iirc he is meant to be 19 or 20 when he becomes Cap in the Brubaker run (which is stupid), where here obviously he would be 24 in 1941.
The most recent birth date for Steve as far as I can remember in 616 comics comes from JMS's Captain America run from 2023 or whatever, where he's born September 28th 1922, which puts him at 19 again in 1941, which again, I think is stupid.
So you've got a good few options there. Personally, while I see the appeal of July 4th just from a pure kitsch perspective, I do also feel attached to Aquarius birth because that's sometime in February and I think being born in 1910s impoverished New York in February sounds miserable so I do like that, because Steve is such a summer-coded guy that I think his memories of his birthday being this grey, miserable time in mid February would be very fun imo.
We have seen the Avengers celebrate Steve becoming Captain America as a birthday also so you could do a symbolic thing if you wanted, which would also be interesting as Steve gives up his individual identity as Steve Rogers for the almost saint-like canonisation he experiences in being Captain America, so him celebrating his alter ego's birthday but not his own would be interesting.
There's a possibility I missed some birthdays in AU comics or Avengers stuff but this is most that is covered in Captain America titles, at least as far as I remember. Hope this helps!
i don't ship them i just think they could get ragebaited into having sex with each other
