⭑ This is a personal & fandom blog, primarily comics, film, and occasionally tv, mostly Star Trek and Æon Flux.
⭑ I make graphics sometimes.
⭑ I tag most characters or people by their full names and inconsistently tag what media they are from. Some characters I particularly like have unique character tags.
⭑ I try to trigger tag effectively. Material is tagged as #[content], no tw or cw before, i.e. #animal death. Let me know if you want something tagged.
⭑ I track #userbrieuc, feel free to tag me in graphics, gifs, etc.
DNI stuff;
I believe fully and inarguably that Palestine needs to be liberated from Israeli occupation and imperialism. All Zionists and Zionists in denial will be mocked and bullied.
I will block transmisogynists and people who are involved in smear campaigns against trans women, particularly trans women of colour. This is not a safe space for anyone who does not center trans women in their feminist and trans liberation movements.
I don't really care what you are into but I make an effort to be critical and nuanced in all of my interests. I do not believe what media and art you enjoy necessarily reflects your politics, but I will judge and block people who cannot be critical and nuanced about things.
That said, I'm not an MCU fan by and large, and particularly MCU Maximoff enjoyers are not particularly welcomed here.
I personally do not particularly care for the characters of Spider-Man, Batman & co., or Tony Stark, so if you're the kind of person who doesn't like to follow people who dislike your favourite guy, there you go.
I'm not saying Steve and Nick would never have sex but I am saying the only scenario where I can see Nick going along with that willingly is if the President himself says "Nick, for the good of democracy and the continued survival of the West you have got to have sex with Captain America" and Nick is like "Fuck... I guess if it's for the good of democracy and the continued survival of the West I'll have to do it..." and then him and Steve awkwardly recreate this image
and they're lying in bed together and Steve's like "Can you put that out" when Nick lights his mandatory post-coital cigar because Steve doesn't like the smell or smoke and then Nick smothers him with a pillow and takes a walk and feels disillusioned with the state of America (because the president told him to have sex with a guy he doesn't like)
And the sex wouldn't even be good is the important thing. Steve's trying to feign enthusiasm because he knows if he's outwardly not into it it's gonna make any future conversations with Nick really awkward but Nick straight up would have the disposition, intensity and expressionlessness of a man at war in the trenches who just watched three members of his platoon get crushed alive by a Panzer tank. Steve's like hey we don't have to do this if you don't want to while Nick is above him with a 1000 yard stare not looking directly at him but at the pillow and Nick doesn't respond he just noncommitedly grunts and Steve's like okay 👍

A lot of misogynists like to downplay how bad misogyny is and has been historically and in today's world and once you notice it you'll never stop feeling like you're going crazy. Especially when it's misogynistic violence faced by nonwhite women and trans women.
