It's been a bit since I posted art, so here's what I've been making for the past month These characters are for something called "(Welcome to) Lerwick Island" I'm still figuring out if it's a comic idea or a game idea, but I enjoy drawing them, and I hope to make more (This isn't even all of them)
Something something being locked in an eternal cycle of conflict and violence together...
2026 Roadmap
2025 is almost over.
I hope you've been treating yourselves well.
Let's get the elephant out of the room first.
The Doge Date
All of you might have noticed that the last meaningful update to this comic was a preview of the playable Doge Date that has been promised for about 6 years now.
Over the course of those six years, quite a lot has happened. One of those things is a change in the standards to the actual quality of this comic.
It's become increasingly clear to me that an actual playable segment needs to live up to its own hype, and a faux-visual novel is not really the way to go.
So. Instead of focusing our manpower on programming this segment, we've elected to save it for one of the more climatic parts of the comic instead.
The "Doge Date" as it is will be released as part of the actual comic, as a mix of videos and comic panels. Concepts that would have only worked in-game form will re-appear elsewhere.
I apologize if this is disappointing to hear, but after careful consideration, this felt like the best approach to release this in a timely manner. I think most of you would prefer to finally get the conclusion of this arc in your hands sooner than later. There is little excuse for it to take this long besides life getting in the way.
To be entirely transparent. All the remaining content of Act 2 will be released at once. Just like every "part" of this comic. The projected release date should be Q1/Q2 2026 at the latest.
As for what's after it...
Act 3
Act 3 as of now is in the "broad strokes" state, a lot of the important scenes for it have been long decided, it's just a matter of putting them down on paper.
The most recent change to it was the recent addition of a character that will play part in the ending of the comic, alongside what's *after* it. I'd love for you to meet them, but they are a rather elusive folk, one who doesn't like showing their face around.
Content in regards to Act 3 will be released gradually, like before, once a part is finished, it will be posted ASAP. Should nothing go wrong, the first actual playable segment of this comic will manifest here.
I hope you'll stick around to see what's in store, a lot of the scenes in this Act were in my head ever since this AU was first created. I look forward to finally show them to you.
Now, what else...
The Rest
Other minute content such as the April Fools specials, the Commentary, and Anniversary content will be released gradually. This will also include content for the sister projects of Rupturedtale, such a α and λ, if some of you haven't seen them at this point.
The Anniversary content in particular has largely stalled due to traumatic events on my end, but you can be assured you will get them in due time, it's just that we have some more important things to present first.

Closing Remarks
The concept of "importance" is something that's popped up in a lot of things that I've worked on. It's something with a certain heaviness to it, significance. Something that demands and often gets attention.
A lot of the people in these stories struggle with it. Some love it, some despise it, some don't know how to cope with it.
Something I've realised growing up is that "importance" can vary widely person to person. Something insignificant to most people can be the most important thing in the entire world for someone else. I want to think this applies to what I've made over the years.
And if not... Well... That's okay, too. It matters to me, at the very least.
If it matters to you as well, I want to thank you for your patience.
