The Avengers work closely with SHIELD, but are sponsored by civilian Tony Stark, whose sometimes-bodyguard Iron Man is part of the team. Recently, the mysterious assassin the Winter Soldier has come out of hiding and started taking out politicians and SHIELD agents at a higher frequency, turning him from a ghost story into a very real high priority threat.
Bucky barely escaped HYDRA, and is now fighting to take them down, keeping the Winter Soldier title and attacking them from the shadows. With the HYDRA infiltration, everyone at SHIELD is a likely an enemy too, including the Avengers. When running into Tony Stark on accident, Bucky makes the split second decision to flirt with him to get as much information out of this asshole billionaire as he can. But then one date turns into another and another - and Bucky is playing a dangerous game of not being photographed by the paparazzi, gaining intel, and keeping Tony oblivious while he more and more falls for Tony. Maybe Tony himself doesn't know what evil plans his bodyguard is involved in…?
