@0904am fuck this made me think. quick note until i forgot

sounds kinda funny at first cause i got used to griffith always being diagnosed as machiavelistic narcissistic psychopath sigma male dark triad sold his friends for batman costume (which i don't think is true of course, he might seem kinda narcissistic, but psychopath? no way) but this is actually interesting

i often see people with bpd telling "everything is ok until i'm in love" so this might be griffith's case from this point of view, like i admit he's always been unhealthy, but feelings for guts messed him up totally and brang out a lot of bpd symptomathic as impulsivity and risky behavior, love obsession, idealization/devalution, fear of abandonment and rejection and inability just to pass through it when it actually happened, selfharm, etc

my own favorite situationship is griffith's sex with charlotte which for me is a pure act of selfharm driving by pain of loss. like griffith def knew that even if won't be tortured or executed, consequenses in any case will be severe and he may lose all he worked for in a moment cause he dishonored a princess. it's an insult to the king, the royal family, the crown, and griffith knew it, and still he did it, and he was thinking of guts
