I still sometimes feel that I’m not rendering different materials as well as I could, especially the contrast between them on a single page. But we’ll see… I haven’t done any deliberate practice for a while, hehe—I really need to catch up a bit. Am I drawing bodies expressively? I’m so happy you think so! To be honest, I’m not even sure myself, haha!! I’m trying… (I don’t even know what I’m talking about…!)
The answer to your question is yes. I’m a professional artist and have worked in the game industry for more than a decade 🙂 I’m sorry that I have to keep my side account separate from my professional one—I don’t want to give my colleagues a heart attack or cause any trouble for my employer, since a lot of the art I post here is very NSFW, XDDD.
My major at university was architectural design. I self-studied and created a lot of digital art while I was still a student. That collection of personal work helped me land my first game artist job right after graduation.
I think if you’re just starting out, you should pick one thing or theme you love to draw (e.g., cute girls, cute animals, cool guys, etc.) and keep drawing it. The only way to become a better artist is to draw and paint a lot. Art is hard—you’ll run into many failures, experience self-doubt, and even self-hatred at times. It can be exhausting, too. That’s why you need to find something you love drawing so much that, even when it’s painful, you’ll still want to draw it.
If you keep going like this, with enough practice, one day you’ll suddenly realize: holy shit, I’ve actually become this good.

Thank you so much for following me! Whoa—you even turned on notifications? I’m so flattered! Your words are too kind; they really warm my heart and encourage me to draw even more.
If you want to improve your art, just draw whenever you have time. Whether it’s 30 minutes or 8 hours a day—it doesn’t matter. What helps is picking one topic at a time and sticking with it for a period of time, which can help you improve faster. With enough practice over time, you’ll eventually become better than me and many other artists you admire ! Art skill is mostly about accumulated practice!
I don’t have a Patreon unfortunately, as I’m a bit intimidated by what kind of value I could provide to my patrons if I opened one. Do you have any suggestions? Maybe art tips? You mentioned that you’re an artist who would like to improve your art skills so I think that might be a valid service I can provide.

Last Book: Number Go Up: Inside Crypto's Wild Rise and Staggering Fall by Zeke Faux. It's nonfiction about crypto and a very enjoyable read. The author is funny, asks the right questions, makes some questionable choices, and I learned more about a world that sucks.
Last Song: Anxiety by Doechii
Last Film: Honestly no idea. I haven't watched a movie in months.
Last Series: Honestly no idea. I haven't watched tv in months. I've been meaning to turn on Heated Rivalry.
Last Video Game: Dispatch. I didn't like it. Also it's so short that if you do want to play it, you should wait for a sale. $30 for 8 hours of game play/watching cutscenes ain't it.

Last Book: Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. I'm still in the middle of it, it's been a comfort to read on days when it feel like there's nothing but horror. I picked it up after seeing this excerpt: “Even a wounded world is feeding us. Even a wounded world holds us, giving us moments of wonder and joy. I choose joy over despair. Not because I have my head in the sand, but because joy is what the earth gives me daily and I must return the gift.”

Last Book: I actually took a break from reading books and have been reading fanfic instead lolol but I've been slowly making my way through Travelling Heroes: Greeks and Their Myths in the Epic Age of Homer by Robin Lane Fox, which is a sort of exploration of the journeys seafarers of the Bronze Age might have made and the interconnectedness of the Southern Mediterranean, through pottery fragments and other evidence that has been found in archaeological sites. Good stuff!
Last Song: ironically, BLUE for Billie Eilish lolol when am I not listening to this song while thinking about BBB
Last film: been rewatching Dracula: A Love Tale as I'm drafting my reincarnation vampire Patrochilles AU hehe

Last book: re-reading The Raven Cycle and The Dreamer Trilogy. Missed my stupid Pynch boys a lot and felt like I needed some magic and strong friendship vibes in my life. Also Ronan is my spirit animal.
Last song: La blessure by Emmanuel Moire. Kinda sad, but it’s a good one. Makes me think of Verso from Expedition 33.
Last film: Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. The visuals were beautiful as always, Elordi did a great job, but (as much as I love del Toro) I wouldn’t call it masterpiece.
Last series: just started Heated Rivalry. Hats off to Connor Storrie for his remarkable and relatable portrayal of a character with such… background, you know.
Last video game: the last one I’ve been playing myself is Dragon Age: The Veilguard. I love it, and I love my tiny elven son.

Last film: The last film I watched was 1.5 years ago—The Power of the Dog. Beautiful :)
Last series: Re-watched Berserk: The Golden Age Arc (2012–2013). Actually, I have the animation on loop as the background sound while I paint Berserk fanart ^_^
Last video game: Monster Hunter Wilds. I’ve only played it for 3 hours. I wish I had more time to play it, but I have to save my energy for drawing fanart after my 55-hour work week. I hope I can play a bit more during the Christmas holiday :)
Sweet or salty: Sweet Haribo gummies, salty crisps, and any dish with extreme chili sauce!
Coffee or tea: I drink 2 cups of coffee and 6 cups of tea (green, black, and white) every day.
