this is going on right now (oct 16 2020). racist settlers have already torched a boat and there is video of them making spike traps for mi’gmaq vehicles. they have also destroyed and removed lobster traps and buoys and they are only going to keep doing worse. this is ecofascism and it needs to stop. @agentndn on twitter has a great list of info and how to help.

I mean, since this is directed directly at my nb blog, I will say that we have stated so many times that we just want to create a space where people can be happy and celebrate being nb. it has nothing to do with sexuality and we don’t speak on any discourse like. it has also been mentioned that ace discourse negatively affects one of the mods’ mental health so please just respect our choices and take your discourse elsewhere
Firstly, no one mentioned that "ace discourse" negatively affects the mental health of a mod to me, but we'll ignore that I guess?
Secondly, I did respect your choices, I've blocked the blog and took my criticism elsewhere. Moreover, it's still defending aphobes to be passive towards them, and not picking a side STILL empowers aphobes.

I’m glad that tumblr is moving onto it’s labor rights phrase but if you’re going to strike you need
clear and concrete demands (i.e. $15 an hour minimum wage, paid sick time, the ability to recieve your schedule a month in advance, etc)
unity. one person skipping work is not gonna make a difference. you’ll just be fired. an entire workplace striking will yield results
mutual aid. if y'all striking y'all not gonna get paid and people have bills and children. you need to raise money for a strike, find a sympathetic rich person or unionize and pay dues
this is not an overnight process. it can take months or years and if you live in major metropolitan area there’s probably already a committee of some sort (DM if you live in New Orleans and want to join one) if not you can form one or join the iww. you can’t just tell people to not show up for work with no plan. because most people aren’t gonna do that.
