I cannot stress enough with words how much I despise “live service”, multiplayer, microtransaction-infested games. Games that already cost $100 to begin with, and you’re not even paying for the full experience. The very idea of Dragon Age, my most special franchise, being dragged into that is like getting punched in the gut. Dodging bullets doesn’t even come close to describing the relief I’m feeling, reading this won’t be the case.

It is despicable that doing this was ever even in question! Despicable, but not surprising, as it’s hardly the first time EA has demonstrated a complete and total lack of understanding what players actually want, instead choosing to push what they want players to want.

I hate how they give you bonus armour at the beginning of the game that is tiers better than armour you could get until mid game right off the bat for $25. Like might as well pay money to not even play the godddamn game.
