ok here's something i will say is like. so many great generations of footballers don't get to win. and this generation did. all the disappointment afterward doesn't take away the fact that they did that, they will always be world cup winners

no u guys don't understand thomas is football to me i'm not sure football exists without him like even at his lows he has always been the heart of this team i'm not even sure how to watch a match without following his lanky little runs and he has always given this sport everything and he's such an inspiration like he is one of a kind there will never be another player like thomas müller and that is just. he always did it his way and became the most decorated player in german history anyway

This is a Thomas Müller appreciation post. For everything he has done for the Germany national team, and hopefully for more years ahead. Despite what some people may say, he’s one of the most important players and his career speaks for itself.

what does that mean for you?
it's and absolute desaster, i don't really know what happens next.., but if this was my last game for Germany, i want to say some words to all german football fans who have been with me all those years:
it was a huge pleasure, thank you everyone! we experienced unbelievable moments together, i tried to leave my heart on the pitch in every game, i gave my all. there were happy tears because of my actions, sometimes there was maybe pain on viewers faces, because something didn't work out.
but i did it with love, you can be sure of it. and the rest we will see
thank you.
