"There is way to much rain outside to step foot outside of this store. It looks like the whole city is going to drown. I’d really rather just wait it out. I am not that good a swimmer. If you’re thinking the same you’re more than welcome to join me for a nice time killing conversation?"

Stiles had walked up to the shop door with a mind to leave, only to hesitate when he got there at the weather outside. He frowned at it before turning to look at the boy next to him who had started talking. He of course recognised him from the voice alone and turned back to look at the rain "As long as you don't make me talk about Disney" He commented.

"Right? It’s been what two months? Six years? Time flies pretty fast now. Impressive." She grinned before setting her empty wine champagne glass down taking the new one that was immediately handed to her by a passing waiter. They’d been ordered to keep her on ice all evening. One glass after the next to keep her blood lust down, to take off the edge so that she wouldn’t ruin the evening. Or her white dress. "So any dastardly adventures with life and death to tell me about?"

"Definitely months, time doesn't fly quite that fast that six years would have slipped past with out me noticing." He pointed out a smile appearing a second later. He couldn't help but raise his eye brows briefly at the fact she'd just finished one drink and was now starting on another but he made sure to wipe the expression away before she could see. "Nothing that would probably be classed as interesting to you" He said with a slight chuckle "What about you? You seem...different"

"Oh yes. Come on Stiles. This is a party. And you’re going to dance. Who would you have your eye on?" she asked looking around the room, trying to find someone for Stiles to dance with.

"No" He shook his head again "How about we find you someone to dance with"

Kenzi laughed and shook her head. “Right! Sorry. I always forget that part,” she replied. Kenzi returned the shrug. “Yeah me neither.”

"We at least that way you can dance with as many people as you want" He briefly commented as he grabbed two glasses of champagne off a passing tray and ignored the questioning look of the waiter.

  "Its okay, I know. He’s my drug dealer too. " she sipped more of her drink. "Stiles.. will you dance with me?"

He laughed slightly but then cleared his throat at her next question "No, I don't really dance" He said shaking his head

"Liar.. " she said chuckling handing him a drink. "Shhhh"

He grinned when she handed him the drink "Thanks" He said quickly before taking a swig of it

"I think you look dashing, darling. But I understand. Dresses are lovely and all but this corset is digging into my ribs." A smile coming to the original’s face. "You’re welcome, love."

"Sounds painful" He said with a wince "But for what it's worth you look amazing" He said having properly looked at her for the first time. He returned the smile slightly "I'm Stiles by the way"

"I said, it looks like you’re still kicking and stuff." She replied arms crossing over the white and gold bodice of her snow flake like dress.

"Wow, long time no see." He commented when he saw who it was stood before him "Yup, still very much alive...surprisingly"

"You are easily distracted." She commented mildly as the few who had attempted to persuade the jumpy teenagers before had taken off to pursue other conversation partners.

He frowned in slight confusion at what she said "..right"

Rebekah shook her head with a slight laugh. “Why are regretting it? I think it looks nice.”

"Because I don't think I worn anything more uncomfortable in my life. And that includes gum shields and helmets" He noted "But thanks"

"Yes he is. I always learn something when he is around. He’s also a great listener. " 

"Yes we are. We should stick together. Gendry was the one who told me I could protect myself by ingesting a bit of vervain daily. At least from Vampires. " she shared with him.

"Human's united" He mused with amusement. "Same, well I mean he told me that it was actually true about vervain, and he's where I get it from....makes it sound like he's my drug dealer or something. Which he's not..just to clarify."

"I see. Well you’re doing good so far. Keep it up, " she smiled. "How old are you? Are you allowed to drink?"

"I will" He said with a single nod "22" He lied

"Definitely superheroes. Our sarcasm is our power, Stiles," she told him. "Okay okay. Sorry. So who are you here with then?" she asked him.

"Shhhh! Not so loud, someone might hear you. It's meant to be a secret remember" He said with mock seriousness. He shrugged "No one,"

Allison nodded in return. “Yeah I know you will, Stiles,” she told him with a chuckle. “Exactly. So let’s find you someone to dance with. Anyone catch your eye?” she asked with a bright smile as she looked around.

"Oh no" He shook his head "I'm happy in the role of the observer tonight"

Arlen smiled brightly, “Gendry has been my greatest friend since coming here a week ago. ” she laughed at his comment remembering to ingest the vervain this morning. “I am completely human, Stiles” she said showing her neck and forearms as if thats what would be an indicator.

"He's brilliant!" He chuckled in amusement at the thought of the warlock. "Nice to know I'm not the only one here, even if we are out numbered like crazy"

Lexi smiled with a light laugh. “Yes, nice to meet you Stiles. Does that happen to you a lot?’

"No, not normally but normally people aren't all wearing masks"

Allison nodded at his explanation. “I promise that I won’t just disappear again, okay? I’ll fight my dad next time. Whatever,” she told him with a smile. “Right. Tonight is about having fun, right?” she asked. She was glad that maybe at least one friend wasn’t mad at her anymore.

"Good" He stated with a single nod "I'll hold you to that" He added pointing a finger at her. "That is it! At least I think that's the point of these sorts of things"
