Working on this piece was definitely a challenge. So much detail. I planned originally to spend 10 hours that turned into 25.

A night at the studio is all I need

Never been able to complete an entire art journal but this year one of my goals is to not buy another one until I complete the one I am currently working on

This is a collection I have been working on for some time now! These canvases measure 36 x 12 and the original plan was the make a combination between abstract with a knife and just black paint. I only have 2 complete as of now but the plan is to finish at least 3 more

2020 will be all about going back to keeping a sketch journal. I’ve never been able to complete an entire journal. for some reason I start and then when I’m 1/4 in it I buy a different one maybe I get bored. I am hoping I can complete this one. The goal is to sketch everyday.

This is the biggest canvas I have ever worked on ... it is 5 feet by 5 feet! The idea of making such big painting came out of the desire of wanting to put wallpaper in my living room. Wallpaper is a huge commitment, I though what if one day I change my mind then I have to remove it, repaint, etc. So ... I though what I about a huge canvas that covers most of my living room wall? And there the project started. It has been 6 months since I began and I am not even close to be done. The entire process has been very enjoyable. Looking forward to see the final result
