Greetings,

Happy new years to you, old friend. 

Whether you are alone, or with family this year, I bid you a happy new year. 

New years now are such wonderful excitements. I personally never looked forward to them in the past, but now they bring such a enthralling prospect to the table.

Ever since I made my return this year, I’ve done nothing but think about my friends, the people I care about, and the people I love.

Oh, that, and myself, for once, as the witch wishes so.

Next year? I’m not sure what it will bring. Hopefully something good. More peace, as I intended for the world to have, but I know already that’s just hopeful wishing. 

Enough about me. What about you? Are you thinking of those silly resolutions?

I don’t see the point in resolutions. What’s the need to make resolutions at the end of the year? Why not during the middle? If you’re that dedicated, why not start whenever?

Alas, my time is up. However, I hope you’re spending your time well, wherever you are.

I have to get going to my next destination, otherwise C.C will whack me over the head with a pan again.

She enters the area people call Queens and takes a good look around. A lot of the infrastructure reminds her of Britannia and some parts of Japan. The exquisite buildings, the luxurious parks and whatnot. Her eyes fall upon a huge hotel in front of her.This must be Lelouch’s hiding place. she thinks to herself with a smirk. Oh she knows him too well. Their many misadventures aside, she knows that Lelouch loves a lap of luxury afterall he is a former Emperor and exiled prince with a massive bankroll that she uses to her own personal advantage. Plus he has a secret to keep so go figure.

She walks into the hotel and heads towards the reception. “Excuse me, I am looking for a guest that may be living here…”

Of course she knew where his hiding spot would be, but that was all it was, a hiding spot, somewhere he could return when he felt like it. He didn’t spend all of his time there, sometimes he didn’t even return to sleep there, he just used it as he pleased. So when the green haired woman asked the receptionist about said guest, she told her which room he was staying in, but warned that he didn’t always stay there.

It was with that, that a woman ran into the hotel, seemingly panicked and she ran straight for the front desk, babbling to the receptionist about seeing some sort of strange creature, who was an assortment of purple and gold, almost like some sort of humanoid bat creature. When asked where she’d last seen the thing, the woman explained that it had been in the Kingly Marketplace, stood atop one of the rooves. 

Said person, Lelouch, had since moved on from the spot, not wanting to attract attention from the screaming woman, and was now heading somewhere more less crowded using the back alleyways.

Then he turns, and walks away from the other, heading to the other side of the garden. Oh how Lelouch would love to make friends, but he was supposed to be dead, and Zero was supposed to be dead. Whether this girl knew about Zero or not, Lelouch simply could not take that risk. In a dangerous place like this, it was better for her to fear him, or to never know his name, than to befriend him, and become endangered in this way. 

But why

Oh, that wasn’t the answer she was hoping for. Nervously, Eve nibbles on her lower lip, wondering exactly what to say to that statement. Alone in Wonderland, she was rather desperate to make friends in this strange place. At the very least, to have someone else to talk to when she felt lonely. Being rejected so quickly like that… It stung.

The sound of his footsteps breaks her out of her thoughts, and she turns back to see him heading in the other direction. Leaving so soon…? Perhaps he wasn’t much of a people person. That might explain the mask, but nothing was certain. For all she knew, it was for a completely different reason.

Hm. So she had followed him, which was just as he thought. Did you really assume Lelouch didn’t know to test the boundaries of a persons curiosity? The simple fact that she had come here showed an immense amount of naivety. He could have a gun to her head right now, but instead there was just a singular rose, which she kept staring at. 

“....My name is Zero.”

That was all he said for now, he lifted his head to stare at her, watching for a response, before he looked back to the flower.

“...You may stay.”

He shifted to become more comfortable, and flatten out the creases in his cape. There wasn’t much to do as an immortal being, of course he could die, but he’d wake up hours later again somewhere. He can’t do much without C.C.

The man they whisper of ( WH Open )

It was far too early for any human, or even creature to be out. But it was much more stranger to find a man laying in the centre of the Little Rabbit Grassland, staring up at the sky, with his hands clasped over his chest. He looked no older than a college student, yet at the same time, he radiated an atmosphere of: Power

              Age

                           Intellect 

& Suffering.

Why had he placed himself here, like this? Simply put it was because Lelouch believed in fate, and if anyone should find him laying like this at four am, then they surely their meeting was important to someone, somewhere. 

                                       Of Course

Lelouch wasn’t actually expecting anyone to turn up, but the immortal was having trouble sleeping and coping. The world he fought for, the world he intended to see the future of was out of his grasp. Everyone he’d ever known and loved was gone, and he was stuck here, in some other world, where they called him mad.

As he heard footsteps, and the crunch of grass beneath feet, he sat up, raising slowly into a sitting position. “... So at last someone has found me, but what are your intentions? Are you a friend, or are you a foe?”

Coffee, Please ( Lelouch & Yuri )

His morning had been as simple as ever. As soon as he exited the luxury of the hotel, he was faced with the cold winter morning, that nipped at his skin, and the cool breeze which gently shifted some of his hair out of his face. Hands shoved into pockets, and Lelouch glanced up at the blue and white sky above him. 

Still,

            He did not understand.

Why he was here. What pulled him to this place, what was his purpose here?

                                               Regardless.

As he started to walk, it became evident that it would most likely only be getting colder, and Lelouch did not intend to stay in the cold, nor return to his hotel room where he would be alone. Instead, he found himself heading from Queens to Jax. There was something that pulled Lelouch to the Tea Time Cafe. Whenever he went there, he got stares. He heard them whisper things about him, something to do with a man in a hat. Lelouch didn’t understand, and really he did not care. 

Despite that.... It was unpleasant to have a lot of eyes and thoughts on him, and so, as he entered the cafe, and took his usual spot by the window - that nobody else dare take - he ordered a coffee, and pulled a book from his bag. Sometimes being outcast was just fine. As he flicked to the part he was last at, he began to read, eyes glancing over the page, before flicking it over to the next.
