Hey Heliodor, what kinds of activities do you do to bond with Scarlet (or did anyway before you moved :()

“Haha, what didn’t we do together? She loved climbing on top of Orion whenever I took her out to see him. It took a lot of work to tell her she can have her own instead of just taking my wyvern! We’d roughhouse, and she liked finger painting with her mother and me, since my painting is on par with that little squirt’s. Usually lots of mud when we were outside too. She would shove worms in her pockets and I wouldn’t know until she tried putting some on my food at dinner. Gods do I miss that girl…”

To king Cadros: Are you aware of the history of the Dragon race in other continents, which they always ended up in insanity? If yes, then why did you work so hard for Anakos? Why not just force him to create a Dragonstone for himself?

“Yes, I am aware of how other dragons had chosen to give up their mortal form in order to avoid such a fate... A Dragonstone is not so simple however. He has already created something akin to it for the royal family to accentuate the powers of our songs. His song. But it could do nothing for him unfortunately... He is also my friend, I cannot just abandon him. I know there must be a way to help him.”

Hello, Ione, I was wondering why you have never joined the Nohrian Army? You could have fought alongside Queen Katerina and protected her, so why did you not join?

“...I am not fit for the battlefield. It would simply be too much for me. I specialize in hexes and more passive magic. And I... Garon... *sigh* ...It is nothing. I would not have been able to assist Katerina...”

Hey Kameko, how did you feel when you found out that Kaze could have potentially saved King Sumeragi and prevented Corrin's capture?

“Oh dear, what a heavy topic. It was right after I had heard the news of what happened that the poor boy confessed to me what happened... I felt many things. I was upset at the king’s guards for not seeing the same thing despite having so many more years of experience than Kaze, I was terrified it meant I would lose my son so soon after losing two of our royals... But I was never upset with Kaze. He was so small and so terribly serious about what his punishment would surely be... It broke my heart.”

Hi there, Prince Asher I just wanted to ask how's it going having your new retainer, Heliodore? Is he everything you hoped for in a retainer?

“Is he!? He’s got this huge wyvern that sparkles even in the moonlight, and his armor is always so bright and cool looking! He also lets me go explore the town when I want. Oh, and he’s super good with an axe! He can do all these crazy spins on his wyvern and go so fast! I picked a great retainer!”

If she were still alive, how would Ione react to her daughter marrying a wolfskin and carrying his hybrid child? I'd assume even more disgusted than usual.

unfortunately no, since the blog is more focused on the OCs that have a lot of interactions together between me and Shauni ;w; but maybe in the future! and of course Kameko is always here as well~

Since we spend so much time (every day…) developping Fates OCs, we thought it was natural to make an askblog out of them~

Hey! I know this blog hasn't been active for a minute, but what would the mamas (and papa's, and other ocs on this blog lol) be most excited for about the winter festival?

it really has been like..... over half a year huh? TwT

I’ll be sticking with mamas and papas for this cause I have way too many OCs now! ;o;

Katerina: most excited for the feasts. She thinks there’s something special about sipping wine and having food to show the fruits of their labors from earlier in the year, considering how difficult it is in Nohr. But she’s also mostly just excited for the wine.

Ikona: most excited for an excuse to stay inside and bundled up under lots of blankets. She would love a kotatsu honestly- she likes having mandarin oranges as well, but she most looks forward to being warm and sleeping, even if she dreads the inevitable sicknesses. She also looks forward to her son’s birthday too, of course.

Cadros: most excited for the snowy environment at the festivals. He probably is well known among the populace for finding time to paint during the festival, and might even have a separate celebration tradition dedicated to it. He loves the beautiful environment and wants to capture each year’s end with his paintbrush. The quiet contemplation of the year while painting is unmatched in his eyes.

Ione: most excited for the different games at the winter festival. She loves festivals already, and the winter festival is no different. While she enjoys looking at the stalls and trinkets that are special to the season, she likes seeing the different games or competitions that are underway, the ones with more skill involved, the better. She’ll also collect any knick knacks she finds interesting or beautiful.

Theodora: most excited for the presents. It’s a good chance to show her knowledge of people’s preferences and likes, and to win up points with people she wants to make connections with. But she also very much enjoys seeing what people have gotten her, since she admittedly likes receiving expensive gifts.

Livilla: most excited for mistletoe, duh! She’s also excited for presents too, since she likes receiving them. But the effort to find presents makes her also dread it, so she has to love mistletoe most. Not many people would actually play into that like she does, but she’s always hopeful for a chance to catch Garon under one.

Heliodore: most excited for spending times at bars, if he’s in Nohr. The winter festival can be bitter for him since he’d much rather be with his family in Cheve to celebrate, so he looks forward to having a pint with some buddies to have a fun night out in the town. He likes having a drink to keep warm and go have some drunken fun in festivals and feasts.

Kameko: most excited to see the different traditions. Wherever she ends up in her travels, she likes to see what the town she’s in has to offer. She finds that most inns or people gracious enough to let her stay with them have little traditions or habits of their own that set them all apart. She really enjoys seeing the festive cheer in so many different ways in so many places. Of course, she also loves to hear from her sons, even if it’s just Kaze.

This is the Kagetora-inspired-me anon, back to tell him (and mun) that I've been taking strides to better myself! It's not easy to give up some deep-rooted bad habits, like unhealthy diets or procrastinating. But I'm trying to take it a bit at a time, hoping one day I can look back and see lots of progress. (Heck, I recently got over my fear of the oven!) Have you kicked any bad habits like that? I hope you (and mun) have another fantastic day full of victories, big and small!

“I can see you’ve made good progress. It’s a slow journey at times, but your body, heart, and even mind will be thankful for your efforts. A bad habit I used to have was to keep pushing myself even when I knew I was far past my limit… Rather serious, but just as worth overcoming as your struggles. I also used to pick at scabs or pretend I was still asleep in the morning so I could avoid coming out and talking to my family at breakfast, heh. But we’ll both continue to do our best and conquer our bad habits, both big and small.”

(Someone had to ask this) Hello Heliodore/Ikona, what do you think of Prince Ryoma, and Scarlet getting married?

“Prince Ryoma of Hoshido? My father served the Hoshidan king as retainer before him, so our families aren’t strangers. Heh, that little royal must not stick within his own box if he wants to marry my girl. He’ll have to learn how to appreciate a Chevois woman if he wants her as his queen!”

“O-oh, she’s from Cheve…? T-that’s on the Nohrian side of the continent… Isn’t it? Um, would she really f-fit in here, in Hoshido? It’s… rather military based too, I think… Would that look good for the royal family…?”

Ikona, hunny your husband isnt a manakete and neither is mikoto. Corrin's a manakete however. They ain't one of his kids. Corrin's a fallen god's kid. It's confusing but it makes sense with context.

What inspires Kagetora when he's working his hardest? He seems pretty self-motivated, but does he ever get discouraged and need to psyche himself up again? (Tbh he's a bit inspiring too)

he does get discouraged :o usually just the habit of visiting his mentor figure is enough to help get him out of his slump, since having someone else to help him work through it is enough to psyche him up again. But if he’s not going to see him for a few days, even just thinking of the work his sister must be doing in his stead is enough to motivate him a lot to keep working towards his goal… :’> Since he’s not doing it entirely for himself he can keep his motivation up because it’s for a loved one too. But when he’s working his hardest… I’d what inspires him is his mentor again. He’s known him since he was young and finds his strength very inspiring. He helped him work slowly towards building his strength, and he’s a very skilled warrior. He just can’t help but want to work harder when he’s training with him!
