Swipe, swipe, and another swipe of his thumb on his phone screen - specifically Sirius’ instagram page. You see, he swore he’s seen Sirius tag Regulus on this account before - a happy birthday post or something. He doesn’t recall seeing his face, trust him, he would’ve remembered a face like that. But he’s seen the name on here before.

God damn that man for posting so much, it’s mostly just pictures of Remus which is admittedly quite funny.

And there it is, December 23rd, 2023.

It was just the picture of the back of a boy, he looked young, probably taken years before the post was uploaded. His black curls were slightly longer than they are now, and he leant against the wall - a small bit of his pale nose peaking out from the side.

He clicked on the profile tagged, it was private, and only had ten people actually following him - along with a profile picture of a black cat with a pale hand stroking its fur.

That’s cuter than James would like to admit.

But then he remembered the look on Regulus’ face when he left the library, like he wanted him gone, disgusted. So, with a sigh, he swiped away the app and threw his phone on the pillow.

What more does he have to do to simply be wanted?
