My opinion has ch-nged I suppose... Ever since the mass ascension I -aven't had to see ascension at all as a part of cult-re. But... it just makes me think of my... cit-zens.

I don't think about ascens-on much anymore. I barely even have time to w-rk on f--ding solutions, to be fair. Experiments take up so much time and concentration that if I tried any now, I fear that I w-uld only end up d--aging my puppet further... Even wh-n I was working on things it was ris-y how divided my attention was."

OOC! I know I said I was working on some full art pieces awhile ago but I have exams coming up so I've been pretty stressed, sorry for the silence!! I've started just doodling a comic for cs and my other ocs so maybe eventually that'll get posted! Anyhow, I'll post some stuff at some point, just been tired.

Hello again. I'm glad my last broadcast reached you safely, and rest assured that I received your response. There were some relatively minor glitches and bursts of audio corruption within, but I gleaned the gist of all that you said.

I wanted to let you know that you don't have to worry about feeling pressured to speak of your circumstances; mine was only a passing curiosity. If you don't think you're capable, or if the thought makes you uncomfortable, you don't have to talk about anything more than you want to. I would prefer we remain in limited contact rather than no contact at all, so I won't do anything to jeopardize your feeling of communicative safety.

Thank you for telling me of your group senior, by the way. Ever-Forgiving Daylight sounds like a very respectable friend, indeed—someone I should like to meet, if given the chance. Listening to you speak of her so reverently, I almost feel jealous; Three Sh- I was not built nearby any other iterators. Every one of us works on the great problem in some capacity, of course, but my main duty that could not be eschewed was to store history, and so it was reasoned that collaborators would only detract and distract.

Any direct contact I make with other iterators in any capacity other than the exchange of information is technically outside of my design. It is... a lonely task...

...Oh, that reminds me—have you ever considered purposing a helper organism for yourself? Something that can handle complex tools. There is one design in particular I know many iterators are fond of for both companionship and surprisingly technical tasks. I was thinking you could use help in making repairs to your communication arrays, seeing as they're in such dire shape. I've done something... similar, you see; I can earnestly swear by the practice.

Really, I don't know where I'd be if I hadn't gone through with it! Heh.

...Anyway, so as to not strain your communication arrays too heavily, I will end my broadcast here. Hello, my name is Roaring Over Tessellations.

Several years ago, I awoke in my chamber having incurred severe system damage and had no memory of how this occurred. It took many years, but I have recently repaired a small portion of my communications array. I have been trying to reach out to as many iterators as I can.

While I don't believe myself to be in any imminent danger, I have been experiencing memory issues. Once a day or so, I go through what I've been calling "memory crashes", where my memory is reset back to the state it was when I first awoke.

It is through the chat logs that I have been able to record my knowledge, as the logs are stored separately from memories. In between talking with others, I have also been decrypting parts of the large portions of corrupted code I have in my systems. The recordings so far haven't really been helpful, but they have given me insight on some of the things that occurred in the nearby regions.

I apologize if I ramble on for too long, I always had issues when it comes to being quiet.

If you don't mind me asking, why were you under self-lockdown?

I can hear you, though you're still cutting in and out. In fairness, I thought that the static was on my end of things. I can't really connect to the network in a traditional sense, all I can do is triangulate positions based on transmission locations and send my signal to that point on the horizon. It's buggy, and it's hard to pick out individual broadcasts. The more I speak with someone, the better I can gauge their exact location.

Did you happen to hear a rumbling noise, or was that just on my end?

While I don't envy you, I wouldn't complain about something new to do around here. All I got are these messages and some code that needs to be decrypted. The decrypting gets boring fast, and my power supply can't sustain these transmission for very long, but I'd do anything besides sitting here in my dark chamber.

I... never really noticed just how dark it is in here... or at least never wrote about it. I guess it makes sense, the walls haven't collapsed to the point of letting in any daylight. It's not like the lights are working, either.

I would like to inquire into the reasons for your self-imposed lockdown, if I may, and to ask after your greater function. This structure... my structure was built as a repository for information and history, to store the knowledge of the world as it is to enlighten the world that will be. Please feel free to share if you are comfortable, and if you are not, that is perfectly fine.

I understand you're lacking for knowledge of recent events, and though recent events covers a rather broad swathe of happenings, the nature of my duty is such that I believe I could help enlighten you in at least a few ways.

Not that life has been particularly interesting since the mass ascension. Not... as far as I'm aware, at least.

While I don't believe myself to be in any imminent danger, I have been experiencing memory issues. Once a day or so, I go through what I've been calling "memory crashes", where my memory is reset back to the state it was when I first awoke.

It is through the chat logs that I have been able to record my knowledge, as the logs are stored separately from memories. In between talking with others, I have also been decrypting parts of the large portions of corrupted code I have in my systems. The recordings so far haven't really been helpful, but they have given me insight on some of the things that occurred in the nearby regions.

I apologize if I ramble on for too long, I always had issues when it comes to being quiet.

If you don't mind me asking, why were you under self-lockdown?

I can hear you, though you're still cutting in and out. In fairness, I thought that the static was on my end of things. I can't really connect to the network in a traditional sense, all I can do is triangulate positions based on transmission locations and send my signal to that point on the horizon. It's buggy, and it's hard to pick out individual broadcasts. The more I speak with someone, the better I can gauge their exact location.

Did you happen to hear a rumbling noise, or was that just on my end?

Additionally, the majority of the cutting in and out also likely comes from my end super-structure wise.. my communication arrays have always been easily dam-ged. Though, some of the s-atic could also come from the method you use to pick out broa--asts. The r-mbling you heard is somewhat connected to the answer to your previous question. It's.. hard to talk about it but.. it couldn't hurt to tell so-eone about it I sup--se, not anymore.

My super-structure has always been.. da-aged. Though I hate to use the term, it was often d-scribed as a ma--unctioning super-structure. In short, t-e amount of water I need is a.. hi--ly abnormal amount. While I w-uld tell you the reason why this is, I never learnt. I was never permitted to try find out. I suspect one of the ma-hines that proc-ss my core functions have malfunct-oned in some way, w-ich leads to it o-erh-ating from simple tasks and therefore ne-ding more water than it normally should.

This leads to str-ctural problems and.. frequent overheating in my central puppet cha-ber if I don't manage it constantly. I never suspected broadcasts would take my mind off of m--aging it so much.

I was able to receive a radio signal that was unfamiliar to my local iterator group, though due to damaged communications I could only decipher a garbled mess that I could not understand. As of now my only communication is through data pearls. Upon receiving the said radio signal I sent a messenger to carry this pearl in the direction. I hope it reaches the intended recipient.

The slugcat who carries this Pearl is named Sunstone, he may linger but has no qualms about leaving if told to.

It is nice to see my message reached another, and so I am glad to learn of you, Colours of Chaos.

My original message was just my way of seeking out more Iterators to communicate with, seeing as recently I came out of lock-down. It is unfortunate to hear of your current situation and the damage to your communications, hopefully there are no further problems. Sunstone seems very sweet, and I am happy to house him in my structure for as long as he would want to stay, however I do not know if he truly should.
