Portlet Bay

One of Jersey's many stunning bays, the picturesque Portlet Bay is situated down a climb from the cliff tops. It's secluded location is part of its charm as the beach rarely gets too crowded, even in the height of summer.

The bach is south-facing, meaning it sees the best of the weather. The golden sands and secluded atmosphere mean that a visit to portlet Bay is well worth the walk up and down theflight of steps taking you from the clifftop.

Durrell Wildlife Trust

Founded over 50 years ago by the naturalist Gerald Durrell, Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust is a sanctuary to over 130 endangered species where you can see over 1400 mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians in 32 acres of gardens.

Durrell's animal-themed play area has been voted the best on the island by visitors, and is a perfect way for children to enjoy the park. There is also the education centre, where children can enjoy close encounters with reptiles and enjoy books, jigsaws and other play equipment. Elizabeth Castle

Elizabeth Castle is situated on a rocky islet of St Aubin's Bay, and has defended Jersey for more than 300 years. The castle is accessible by foot at low tide, but the Castle Ferry runs throughout the day.

The castle is a perfect way to spend a day trip in Jersey, you can learn about the history of the island, dating back to when the castle was built in the 1590's. it was home to Sir Walter Raleigh and was refortified during the Second World War during Germany's Occupation of Jersey and used a strong point commanding the sea approaches to St. Helier.

Samarès Manor

Samares Manor dates back to Norman times and is surrounded by exceptional gardens which have recently undergone substantial restoration and development; including the creation of one of the most comprehensive herb gardens in Europe.

Victor Hugo House (Hauteville House)

In this well preserved house, in exile the famous French writer spent fourteen years personally decorating it and writing his masterpieces.

The house is still full of the furniture, bric-a-brac and figurines that Victor Hugo so enthusiastically collected.

Trident Ferry to Herm

St Peter Port Harbour

On arrival into Guernsey, passengers will arrive in St Peter Port after disembarking the Condor Ferry.

The tidal currents are amongst the strongest in the world and experience tides of up to 40 feet. The harbour was built between 1866 and 1870. Now the Harbour is a picturesque haven where you can sit and watch the time go by with the boats sailing in and out.

Centrally located in the parish of Castel, this popular park is perfect for families and couples.
