I am getting SO tired of all the drama involving Shannon T. Why can't she just stop being rude and pushy for once? I've never even spoken to her but basically EVERYONE I KNOW has complained about her bullying. It's at the point now where even people who like the groups she run leave and block her because they are tired of her harassment.

"I am generally pro-artist, but I'm not anti-recast because I refuse to harass my friends over their choices of dolls. But I may have recently gotten a second-hand recast in a trade. It wasn't deception - the owner admitted she had NO proof of legitimacy and didn't know if the doll was recast, she went as far as tracking the doll back by 8 different owners, and we talked to them and none of them had proof and many of them forgot if it was legit or recast. How do I find out if its a recast for sure?"

Admin D - Some recasts can look just alike to their legit counterpart. However in some cases they end up looking BETTER than their legit counterpart (*cough cough FL's tan dolls cough cough it's not that hard to color resin cough cough step it up FL*). So it really depends on the sculpt. However I'm posting this question instead of replying directly to give others a chance to reblog/talk about it if they want to.
Admin Zed - if you like doll then just enjoy it privately or at place that allow recast dolls/parts until you know. If you do not like it (and have trouble to bond with it because of the unknown status), you sell or trade it honestly, with proof that you've tried to figure it out, but only on forums/places that allow recast.

Admin D: I'm into artist dolls mostly but generally I don't make enough money to support it. LOL. I have a legit cuarto dragon in black with a gold bodyblushing, I have a couple of Nympheas Dolls too, I'm looking into getting a Kinoko someday. I also have a few plastic/3d-printed ball jointed dolls from other artists. I do not plan on sharing my own doll pics here. I'd rather not be bothered about confession blog stuff on my personal. Sorry. Admin Zed: I have a Soom MegaGem, one DD, and a couple of Mystic Kids dolls. I'm only buying limited/fullsets at this time. I have a couple of ongoing layaways right now. I don't really take photographs, I just enjoy my dolls privately in my home.
