I hate hate hate hate how many people view the ace community as "coaches not players" and "freaky people who don't fuck (or maybe they do because aces can have sex too!!!!1!!!1!!!!) but write the filthiest smut".

I hate how I tell people I'm asexual and their reaction is "oh so you're just freaky but you don't act on it".

I'm asexual. I lack a sexuality. I lack desire, drive, libido, and attraction, although I acknowledge that only lack of attraction is necessary for asexuality. I do not want anything to do with sex, fictional or otherwise. I'm not a fucking "coach", I am not a sexual creature.

I hate how asexuality has become sexualized.

lace's story is so much about disability to me (as a disabled person) ... she's physically quite old, but has a frail, resource heavy body and 'the mind of a child.' (emotional/mental maturation is a weird and complex thing, but i interpret her to be childish in the same way people with autism / learning disabilities are considered 'childish' or 'less mentally developed' than their neurotypical peers) lace is obviously incredibly frustrated at what she is, she holds a lot of hate for herself & is angry for being born. and resents being fragile & 'broken.' this may be more projecting but i think she resents forever feeling like / 'acting like' a child as well.

anyway this is also me throwing a hat into the ring on lace age discourse i think she's just a disabled adult. ok thanku :]

Just because *she* wants kids doesn't mean she should get control of your LIFE SAVING medical care. If she's already not "compromising" you are not being considered as a true and whole peron in her eyes. I am so sorry this is happening to you. I absolutely agree! Other than writing stories, I generally have very little to do with the monster fucker community but I do know there are people out there that do this.

Just let people enjoy things.
