Admin Applications

While it is passed the original deadline, we still very much want to have a new admin - and unfortunately no one responded.

So I’m just making another post and adding another link to the form because what have we got to lose?

I will be switching admin names - I'm taking up Admin Brian, leaving Arin and Suzy available for a new admin. I'm on my phone so I'll change things on the theme later ~ Admin Brian (formerly Admin Suzy)

Okay so admin applications are supposed to close today, but we’ve had no applications… I think we’ll keep them open for a little while since no one applied at all.

Admin Applications

We’re opening up applications to become an admin here!

All you need to do, as of right now, is fill in this form.

Once you’ve filled it in, you are able to go back and edit it, so don’t worry if you make any mistakes or need to change an answer! We’ll assess the answers in 2 weeks - October 4th - and will contact applicants that we feel would be best for this blog and ask them a few follow up questions before deciding :)

To all admins, when will the mod app be up if at all? I'm sorry about Mod Kevin having to leave :(

We’re sorry he had to leave too :/

As for applications - I’m making it right now, and will be conferring with the other admins to make sure we’re all happy with it before we post it. So we don’t know an exact day/date for when we’ll be posting it, but you should expect it soon as we’re finally cracking down on this and getting it done.

Announcement

Due to some unfortunate circumstances, Admin Kevin can no longer be a part of this blog. We will miss him and we do hope that he’s okay in everything he does - but sadly he cannot continue being an admin here.

This does mean we have an admin opening. We will be looking at the responses we got to the last applications (and we may contact past applicants to double check that their answers are still the same), and might open up applications to the rest of you. We don’t know just yet, as it’s only just been made aware to us that we need a new admin.

But for now we say goodbye to Admin Kevin and  wish him the best.

It has been decided that for ease, we will not be looking at passed applicants and will simply be creating a new application form. This does not mean that you cannot re-apply if you applied last time - you absolutely can, and we encourage it! It’s just simply too confusing to go through and analyse the past applicants, when we have different needs this time around.

This is for any of the admins. Are there going to be other admins, like an admin Brian and Arin?

So, this is a bit hard to answer but… Yes/no/maybe?

It depends on what you mean by “other admins”

If you mean “Will there be more than 5 admins?” then the answer is no. The schedududududle (HOW DO YOU SPELL THAT???) we have set with the days and weekend is set in a way that we can all be able to do our thing, have our own days to take care of submissions and then - of course - answer your questions during the weekend. So, if we were to add a sixth admin that would make things a bit confusing for all of us.

If you mean “Will there be any admin called Admin Arin/Brian in the future?” as in “if one of you leaves will this happen?” then; yes/maybe. When we started this blog, there WAS an Admin Arin actually. But due to reasons they left. But if any of us admins decide to leave then yes; there’s a possibility that there would be another one who’s “take our place” and there’s a possibility that THAT person would choose to be either Admin Arin or Brian or the one that the one who left had. 

If any of these two were NOT the way you meant then please do clarify. Or not, it’s your choice!

Aaaahhhh thank you so much! It really means a lot!And to answer your questions!1; I’m feeling pretty okay, extremely tired, but okay. 2; It was fantastic! I was cosplaying as Ash Ketchum and I got a lot new friends! I was even in a (insert the name of that game with the monsters you catch in tiny spheres) cosplay video! (You can find that video on my main blog - elisparklequeen - if you just search for Cosplay” ;33) Even though my feet hurt like hell after the second day I really enjoyed myself and had a lot of fun!

If I could spend a whole day with one of the grumps, it would either be a jam session with Dan, ending with a deep conversation, or watching some bootlegs of several musicals with Barry, have him teach me some editing, play games and talk into the night.
