Hi awesome fans! Welcome to confessions-kpdh, an anonymous confession blog for all things related to the movie K-Pop Demon Hunters run by @echoingvoids. Before you get to confessing, make sure to read the rules!

Is it bad that whenever I watch someone react to kpdh if they outright say they don't like my fave from the saja boys my brain just goes "how dare-fine more reason for me to love on him"? Like I'm not entirely certain that's a normal reaction on my part haha.

Really not a fan of Polytrix. I just see them as having a platonic friendship but it's all ship stuff and then people aren't tagging it as ship stuff gets annoying when the girls are seen kissing or on dates in fanarts

Same with Celine x Ryu Mi-yeong. I just see them as friends, not this "doom yuri" because Celine is raising Rumi and was "secretly in love with her best friend" or whatever shit the shippers preach about 🙄

Am I the only one who doesn't get the hype over Baby Saja? Like...okay. He just raps and is both cute and sexy but I thought that was the whole point of each Saja Boy???

The trans allegory for rumi is pretty easy to make but I can't get transfem Jinu out of my mind. They are t4t girlfriends to me.

I don't want jinu to come back in any sequels, not because I disliked him. I really liked his character actually. I just am so tired of fake out deaths, or things not having consequences, characters not being allowed to grieve and be affected by death like this. Sure, you can have a character that died before the story starts, but if it's a character you know who died in the story? They will be back it's finneeee /sar. Please let rumi deal with the emotions his death causes!!! Please let his sacrifice have weight!!! It was a perfect place to end his character development imo and bringing him back would feel cheap and predictable!!

I don't like it when fandom gives the Saja Boys different "normal" names. Whenever I encounter it in fic, I either skip reading or I use a word replacer extension. It's just too jarring for me, and we have so little confirmed canon info about them that changing their names makes them feel like OCs. (Or maybe I've spent so long on the internet that I've gotten used to names that are random words and have completely lost touch with what a "normal" name sounds like. Who knows lol)

Idk if this is just me but the whole “Dad Bobby” thing is just soooo strange to me

This man is their manager. There are professional boundaries there. Outside of being friends, their relationship does not go any deeper than that. Also, he’s at most 10 years older than them, if even that.

Tbh it feels like there are some misogynistic undertones there. These girls do not need anyone to take care of them like that. They are grown women. Even if it’s not like that, a lot of the fics or “analyses” (it’s in quotations because so much of it is just projection of their own parental problems) that showcase that heavily bash Celine to the point where it even isn’t the original character anymore. And realistically, if Celine was a man this wouldn’t happen at all.

It just pisses me off and I needed to vent anonymously because I know for a fact i’m gonna get attacked if I say this in my own account 😭

I know people have shipped with less but I feel like some ships are only shipped because they were mentioned in the movie. Like there’s an argument for zoestery but I can’t see it past being mild infatuation

Similarly miromabby from what we’ve been given is a bad love triangle (or at least that’s what I see) romance is working within his archetype he might be interested in Mira or he’s just playing his role as a flirt and Mira (and Zoey) are mostly just physically attracted to Abby’s abs and Abby is Abby. plus they seemed totally fine killing them “your just my type, oh well”. like I want to see it but chemistry wise I’m starved.

am i gonna have to be the jelly/bobby fanfiction writer i want to see in the world (i LOVE everyone who's already posted under that tag btw, all like 15 of you are great <3)

because while i dont particularly mind gwi-ma/bobby, i just dont think gwi-ma would even be capable of change, or feelings of love (platonic or romantic).

but we do see jelly as highly emotional in the movie so liek... he'd probably be VERY capable of change and feelings of love

if i (personally) am gonna ship anyone w bobby, i'd pick jelly over gwi-ma, but thats just a me thing

Saying it as a polytrix shipper but it annoys me when some polytrix posts also tag rumira, zoemira and zoerumi.

One of the big reasons why I end up disliking an ot3 ship has to do with many shippers cross-tagging, and I really don't want polytrix to become another ot3 that I grew to dislike because of this.

I absolutely love rujinu like his death broke my heart but I just can't hate polytrix
