So. For the past 3 weeks I’ve been hooking up with my boss in the back of our store/in his office and we make out all the time. Wow. I’m a bit baffled honestly, no judgement though. If you enjoy this and it doesn’t actually bother you (I sure hope you have money to pay your rent and such) you do you. Just keep yourself safe and enjoy your life how you want to. Honestly, I don’t know your financial situation to some people 20 dollars is a lot, but to most people its not even that much. If you want to tell her, tell her. But you don’t have to if you just never do it again. Its not good to steal, no matter how much it is of course. As a parent I wouldn’t get mad about something that happened years ago, i’d just make them promise to never do it again. -Admin K
i made some bad choices back at uni, most of which weren’t entirely of my own free will, and when i went back to my parents they got so mad and kicked me out. i was going to them for help and they told me they didn’t even recognize me anymore. i still feel like i let them down by being a terrible daughter and everything was my fault.
It doesn’t really matter who’s fault it was. Your choices are always your choices, but sometimes we simply don’t have the knowledge or information to make the right choices. But with these types of scenarios its best to accept that what has happened happened, now all you can do is focus on the future and making better choices there. Hopefully your parents will make the better choice of accepting you back into their life at some point as well-Admin K

i can’t help but think my trauma has left me damaged permanently. i know there’s no returning to the old times after trauma but it’s almost 2 am and i’m still up because my brain won’t shut up and i don’t know what to do, i don’t know, i won’t ever be everything i need to be and other people want me to be and it all feels so hopeless
Honestly, since i’ve experienced quite some trauma I can tell you that my trauma’s have affected me permanently. But affected does not mean damaged. I think a lot to, not about the trauma but about pretty much anything else. My psychologist calls it a coping mechanism. Sometimes when you get traumatized your brain rewires itself which causes you to feel and think and react different then others. This is done to protect yourself, not harm yourself all tough the results can have issues later on at the time it was the best strategy your body had. I personally write a little before going to bed. And then when I close my eyes and my thoughts wont stop I start describing something random in my head, like perhaps the ideal tiny home. Something you can really focus your thoughts on, without having to think to hard about it. hopefully these tips can help you. All tough I strongly recommend trauma survivors to go see a therapist.-Admin K
I hurt someone 6 years ago and I don’t think they remeber should I confess this to them and hurt others with that confession or live my life and hope for the best? I’m not a bad person I promise but I don’t want to suffer.
The question here is why is it that you want to bring it up again? If they don’t remember then you can’t apologize. Sometimes people want to bring things up and apologize because they want to feel better, not because they want others to feel better. If that’s the true reason (which is normal! Don’t feel bad if that’s the case), then don’t bring it up. If you truly just want to tell the other person what you did so that they know, tell them but be prepared for whatever back lash you get. They might chose to tell others, they might not. They may forgive you, they may not. Those are things you need to prepare yourself for in that case. Good luck-admin K
This is stupid, but growing up was really hard on me. It’s like, “What do you mean I can’t have powers like the people in the stories?”, “I can’t swim around under the sea like Ariel?”, “Is magic not a real thing?” Idk it just always felt like I was looking for some sort of magic to believe in, and the more that I looked the more I just proved that it didn’t exist. That bothered me a lot as a child and it still does if I think about it too much. I wish I could get that sense of wonder back.
Somehow, you described exactly how I feel. I always thought things would get better, but they don’t. It turns out you have to make them better. You have to find your own kind of magic. For me that’s hunting down the internet for the best quotes on there. Words a simple yet they can have so much meaning when put in a certain order. That’s magic to me. Find something that can mesmerize you, it doesn’t have to be something out of this world to fill you with awe -Admin K

It’s not silly at all, feelings change all the time and even if they didn’t, just because you’re not looking for something serious doesn’t mean you can’t be looking for something right? Just be honest and open with him, maybe he’s interested in trying something more to see where it goes, maybe not but that’s okay too. If that’s the case, don’t feel bad. I'm so frustrated with my boyfriend. I don't think it's fair that he can maintain close friendships with most all of his exes..but I can't go date new people because he doesn't want to go to bed alone.
Hi I’m not sure I fully understand this. What do you mean with date? Most boyfriends wouldn’t be happy when their gf dates someone else, because that usually considered cheating if that’s not what you mean, or if in your relationship the boundaries are set different, then of course that’s okay. My advice, talk to your boyfriend about your frustrations, I think you feel like he’s being hypocrite in some ways. Try to find boundaries you’re both comfortable with and make sure they equally apply to both and I hope that will help you -Admin K
