I just saw that the Confetti page has crossed the 1500 likes threshold. These last few years have been so surreal. I’ve been able to travel to places I otherwise never would have thought twice to travel to, been on stages I never knew existed and many I only DREAMED of setting foot upon. I’ve hunted and found music that has made me cry and driven me to my knees, because it was so powerful. I’ve found music that makes every muscle in my body tense, because if I didn’t hold firm, it would overcome me. I’ve met dozens upon dozens of beautiful, talented people. And many of you have changed my life, for good. I’ve had mentors that pushed and challenged me, peers that shared moments with me, and (my favorite) supporters that gave me kind and encouraging words of love and support, many times while I was in my lowest of low places. Without you, I wouldn’t ever have pushed to do any of this. You can love music from the comfort of your own bedroom, in your headphones all by yourself. But sharing a fun, explosive, energetic musical experience with people- that’s what it’s about for me. So I want to say THANK YOU, but I also want to say Let’s Keep Going! I want this Confetti Movement to be not only me, but with anyone that’s heard one of my online mixes and liked it, with anyone that’s fist bumped me at a show during a set, and with anyone that believes that House is Forever, Classic, and Timeless, and that it can unify people who don’t even speak the same language.
