Illness was a subject with which Sullivan was uncomfortably familiar. Having spied the kitsune outside not long ago, he had noticed that she seemed a bit “off” from her usual self. He had taken a while to weigh the possibility of visiting her at home in his head. This may have been a trap for him; Perhaps she knew that he could be so perceptive, and was trying to lure him to her quarters. Perhaps, though, she simply was feeling a bit down. His kindhearted, almost fatherly instinct had won out in the end, and he found himself traveling in her direction at some point.
Her soft reply surprised him a bit. So she had heard him enter? Strange. Usually, he tried to be as quiet as possible. Perhaps kitsune were adept in their hearing. Either way, seeing as she could obviously hear him, he decided to speak up.
"Hello, there. You seem a bit chilled. Might I provide you with a warm beverage of some sort, or perhaps locate a warmer location for you?"
She rubs her eyes, a tad tired, and looks up at him curiously. How strange it was to hear him sound kind of concern. Of course, he would be like this with Kurotsuno, but with her? Ha, it was ridiculous.
Her tail stops wagging, and hangs low, herself blinking once, twice beforee speaking.
"A warmer location? What kind of location?" Her voice is still quiet, and breaking a little bit as she spoke.
