imagine you are a cloned member of a slave race who got terminated and revived for no reason other than to get a “fresh perspective” on your research and this very wack experience is what pushed you over the edge to decry your gods and flee to freedom and when you’ve worked out an ok plan (you and some fellow scientists are being transported on a spaceship, then you wait until everyone falls asleep/the soldiers who don’t sleep aren’t looking and make a break for an emergency escape shuttle) and when you intend to do this you’re stopped by a colleague who noticed your weird behaviour and is threatening to narc on you so you fucking one shot kill them just absolutely fold them like an omelet before getting the fuck out of there (now with some metaphorical blood on your hands) but just before you get to the ship you’re stopped again by another scientist that you don’t really know but you think their name is gogurt and this time you just grab them by the face to shut them up before anyone hears either of you and drag them onto the ship so that they can’t run and snitch on you too and you take off as fast as fucking possible only to realize that you now have a captive/companion for this little road trip who you quickly figure out to be a total piece of shit who does not particularly want to be free because they don’t like responsibility or work or being a person so they sell you both out as soon as they can to the massive interplanetary power that’s currently at war with your former gods in exchange for being babied forever and now you’re stuck with them because along the way you developed a violent-nemeses-with-benefits situation that is so codependent that you cannot be physically separated lest your bodies begins to shrivel up and decompose. and also you both picked up swing dancing (weirdo freak version) but they don’t have a sense of aesthetics so you’re the entire creative backbone of the duo and you can’t abandon that because dance is your passion. this is what my oc maevith lives everyday.
