Overview: Small town living has never felt so small. The lives of a dozen Oregon residents intertwine and overlap as they all learn to grow, change, and love with one another.

Episode 1: Felix and the Evanders Former best-selling author Felix Evander struggles to balance his crippling writer’s block with the daily adventures of wrangling his four rambunctious children. But he’s only one of the eccentric characters in this sleepy Oregon town.

Episode 2: Vera Felix’s biggest fan, Vera Lloyd, focuses on keeping her bookstore up and running while prepping for the upcoming winter semester and the rush of high school and college kids storming her doors for textbooks.

Episode 3: David Lately, Professor David Wainwright’s life consists of teaching, drinking...and not much else. But since the bartender at Whiskey Business drove him home after one night of heavy drinking, she’s begun to worm her way into his daily routine.

Episode 4: Luna While bubbly and charming with her bar patrons, Luna D'Angelo battles with her anxiety daily and fights to mend her relationship with her family. With help from Vera and Kiegan, David begins to scratch the surface of Luna’s struggles.

Episode 5: Kiegan Kiegan Mitchell’s quest for a place of his own continues. But it’s secondary to his quest to find the girl from the radio that he’s been infatuated with for the past year.

Episode 6: Allegra and Lyra Outside the radio station, Allegra D’Angelo is elusive, something Kiegan has learned all too well. She’s almost always seen with her daughter or her ex, usually avoiding Whiskey Busines - and her older sister. But now, a certain bouncer might give her reason to swing by the bar more often...

Episode 7: Raphael In another life, perhaps he’d be Allegra’s husband. But in this life, he’s her best friend and an excellent father to their daughter. A member of the arts community, Raphael Casmere has eyes and ears all over town and knows most of the residents all too well.

Episode 8: Diana, Carina, and Marco The Zamora-Beaumont family’s influence spreads all across town, rivaling only Raphael’s reach. From Diana’s command of the academic sphere to her wife Carina’s well of knowledge from her patrons and other business owners. But Diana’s sister is a different story.

Episode 9: Aurora Reclusive and introverted, self-made graphic designer Aurora Beaumont finally trips up in her carefully crafted routine. She falters and might begin to move forward when her newest client turns out to be her blind date gone wrong.

Episode 10: Kenneth Felix’s best friend, Kenneth Sinclair, is a gentle and loving cornerstone of the community, beloved by all who come across the Seven Stars Bakery. Aurora may be the exception but the two begin to warm up to each other after their disastrous date when Kenneth begins to teach her how to bake.

          She was panicking. Breathing was difficult, her chest tight. God, she didn’t know if she should even tell him. He was supposed to go to art school in the fall, had already started his applications. So had Allegra, actually. Thankfully she hadn’t submitted any, still tweaking her personal statement and her portfolio of original compositions. Because…god, there was just no way she could transfer to music school now!

          But she didn’t need to burden Raphael with this. They had only just broken up last month. And though they had remained friends and been amiable enough, Allegra knew horror stories of other girls using tactics like this to get back together with boys and…and she couldn’t have Raph thinking that of her. They just weren’t good long term - no spark, just comfortable warmth. They were better off as friends.

          She needed to just walk out of his life and take care of this on her own. Sure, money would be tight, with Luna away at college, but Allegra could make it work…somehow.

          To be utterly honest, she hadn’t been listening, following Raphael out to the gazebo and hearing nothing but the blood pounding in her own ears. She’d rather not make this speech in front of the entire Casmere family but…god, the gazebo? This was where she and Raph had had their first kiss, where they had taken their prom pictures…

          He was asking her another question but Allegra hadn’t noticed, pacing in a small line and wrapping her arms tightly around her midsection. She should just go, tell him something asinine about making sure he wrote her when he went to college but eventually, she found herself freezing in her spot. When she finally looked back up at Raphael, there were tears beginning to well in her eyes and her voice was barely audible.

          “…Raph, I’m pregnant.”

      David let out a sleepy mumble, rolling over slightly so that he was slightly faced toward Luna, who was wriggling closer under the blankets, not stopping until her head rested on his shoulder. Dimly, he caught the scent of whiskey and roses that he associated with her; some combination of her shampoo and the job she held. It only served to soothe him more, his eyes drifting shut again as he shifted so that she would be more comfortable, one arm slipping around her.
