"Perspectives" | September, 2017 | hand made collage scanned, printed, and mounted
Here’s a couple freshly mounted pieces I made. The piece on the left is for freedom and the chaos it holds. The piece on the right was made to symbolize oppression and the often ignored problems in plain sight. Both pieces are made up of scanned collages and imagery that I made then manipulated in photoshop.
Here’s a few bigger prints of the Impeach Criminals triptych I made and mounted. If you’d like to see the full size final prints, I’ll be having a show in Monmouth County, New Jersey this spring! Working on some apparel designs with this now. This was all originally hand made collage on 4ft x 2ft boards and on Bristol, and photographed and scanned in then changed with Photoshop.
Here’s an old magazine spread I made for Alexey Brodovitch in October 2015. Trying to put my own take on his style.
Here's the finished catalog covers I gave you a little preview of before. All imagery was created/photographed by me and tied together using illustrator/Photoshop. This is only a proposal and I doubt they'll pick it but my goal was to show them a style with their name I know they haven't even thought of trying.
A piece of a magazine cover I’m making for NAFFS. I’ll post the design when it’s done!
I had a little fun drawing on the last print and made another with the same print and Lassie tag.
Here’s a quick throwup Lassie tag I made with acrylic over and extra print of my work I had.
Trying out a cool crackle effect with splatter on top using spray paint and a lot of glossy enamel on wood board. I added a picture of the paint I used.
I know there’s nothing but a lot of previews lately but bear with me as I’m working towards my senior show this Spring. This is a preview of a part of a series I’m spray painting on 4ftx2ft plywood boards. It will be featuring different styles (above is my throw-up style) I used for an old name I used to spray on things besides canvas and wood boards 😉 (not anymore though). It will really be showcasing a lot of styles I had anonymously displayed publicly before. I also posted a picture of the colors used if anyone’s interested. Like I said this is just a preview though, majority of this will be burned.
Cool metallic colors on the sides of business cards always cost a fortune. With the use of my vice, some paper, and some metallic spray I'm able to get the same result.
Here's a couple collages I created on paper I made! I drew on top with acrylic paint markers. Possibly looking to make some new apparel from these while I wait on my Trump triptych prints to get here.
"Beliefs", September 2017, Mixed media on 4" canvas square
“Floral”, September 2017, mixed media on 4" canvas square
Here is “My Alphabet”. A piece I made in 2015 using mixed media to experiment with letterforms.
Always fun to make some iron-ons of your designs! Today I’m making a hoodie and long sleeve. Here’s a pic of the hoodie before I cut it out and iron it.
