Hey Conor, I really like your work mate and your method of colouring. I was wondering what program you use the most? If Illustrator, what type of brush/ pen do you use for your line work? The frogs are mad! Tyson from Australia

Hi Tyson,

Thanks for writing. From begging to end my process is about 50% traditional, 50% digital. I pencil everything, ink it with a brush, scan it and use photoshop to color it. I use Kyle Webster’s psd brushes and use a large wacom tablet.

Thought it would be fun to do a series of characters based on the carol “Twelve Days of Christmas”. My thinking was that they’d be the Twelve Knights of Christmas, this one being Partridge in a Pear Tree. 

The idea was short lived but I don’t loose sleep over it.
