1914
March 20th Twenty of the first and second round of students recruited in July of 1913 who showed enthusiasm in training and had good results perform as part of the entertainment at a wedding exposition 「婚礼博覧会」 starting from April 1st as their first performance. They practice for 12 days starting from this date.
大正2年7月に募簗した第一 、 二期生別20名は熱心な養成をうけて進歩もめぎましく、成績もすこぷろよかったので、 4月1日から開催されろ 「婚礼博覧会」 の余興として、 第一回の公演をすることに決定、 この日から述日12日間、 舞台稽古を行う
April 1st The first performance starts (runs until May 30th). Takamine Taeko stars as Momotaro in “Don Burako”
第一 回記念公演開始 (5月30日まで)。 「ドンブラコ」 の (桃太郎) 髙峰妙子。
August 1st Start of the Summer Performance (runs until August 30th)
October 1st 1st Autumn performance starts (runs until November 30th). Ogura Miyuki and Kumoi Namiko star as the “Bartender” in “Music Cafe”
10月1日 秋季公演開始 (11月30日まで)。 「音楽カフエー 」の(バーテンダー) 小倉みゆき、 雲井浪子。
November 1st Miyoshi Kazuoki , a famous composer known for 「汽笛一声新橋を」 joins the revue. 11月1 「汽笛一声新橋を」 の作曲者として有名な三善和気入団。
December 11th The Osaka Mainichi Shumbun organizes a large variety of charity operas at the Osaka Kitahama Imperial Theater. “Don Burako” and “Urashima Taro”, among others, are performed.
12月11 大阪北浜の帝国座で3日間、 大阪毎日新聞社主催の大毎慈善歌劇会が開催され、 「ドンブラコ」、「 浦島太郎」 などを上演。
December 15th They appear in a charity opera organized by the Osaka Umeda newspaper’s Kobe branch.
15日大阪 梅田 新聞社神戸支局主催の慈善歌劇会に出演すろ。 (Note: the 2 lines underneath the Takarazuka info list events happening in the Entertainment world and International and Japanese events, I haven’t bothered to type out translations because I’m lazy and most of it doesn’t have anything to do with the theater. 20 students from first and second class who were recruited in July 1913 received intensive training and showed remarkable progress with extremely good results so it was decided that they will perform their first play as a side show to a “wedding exposition” planned to start on April 1st; they had rehearsals every day for 12 days starting from this date.
