Hi Fannibal Family,

You may remember a few months ago that I posted a fundraiser for my sister in law, but a new one on a different site has been made. If you donated in the past I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

For those who don’t remember, my SiL has been fighting cancer ever since the birth of her third child, who is two now. Unfortunately Val is in the end stages. One of her last lucid acts was voting in the Wisconsin primary election just a few days ago, to do what she could to leave the country in a better place for her children and all of us. Val has always been a fantastic mother to her three young kids, a supportive wife to her disabled husband, and a hero of a sister to my partner Teela, who went through gender transition a few years ago. Val was the sole breadwinner for her family and we are trying to help them stay in their home for as long as possible after she passes.

I was lucky to be able to get her and her husband to watch Hannibal due to my enthusiasm and they always wanted to know when it was coming back.

Teela is with her now and was able to get back to Wisconsin from New York where we live in time to say goodbye. (Sadly I couldn’t go because I had to see my dad in ICU with kidney disease, but he is expected to recover. Everything happens at once.) Please signal boost this post or help if you can.
