I promise I’ll try to do better on here...new bomber jacket is flames though.
I’m really looking forward to what 2016 has to offer. 2015 was wonderful for me overall with great opportunities, even better experiences, and an unprecedented amount of personal growth. Was it 100% perfect? Of course not; but that wave of positive momentum shit all over the negativity at every step.
Good looks 2015.

Technical difficulties
Haven’t been able to create in months because of this laptop.
Be back soon. I’m getting real anxious and impatient because it feels like I’m waisting time.
Will buy one in due time. Got a friend who can hook me up ayyyyy!
Just an update, fam.
Took these shots with my brother the other day and it was almost like a tutorial session of sorts. He got to work on his angles and got more familiar with the camera, I got to help “direct” and experiment with different ISO’s and Apertures n’ all that stuff.
It was nice. He did a good job!
Afterwards, took these things into Lightroom and messed around a bit. Got some different looks that I really dug but all within the same theme. It’s really fun just playing with that program and I’m definitely trying to use it as often as possible. It’d be great if I got a real version of this though because this bootleg one definitely is missing features.
OH WELL.
Also, I do’t like how I got my hair cut. Makes my forehead look big(ger) as shit.

Hey everyone!
On June 26th and 27th P. Johnson Tailors is going to be in Los Angeles. I met up with these guys when I was in Sydney (I’ll write about that trip….soon) and spent a good 4 hours at their shop over the course of two days.
This place was fuckin’ magic.
More on that later too!
They’ll be in Los Angeles and I’m definitely going to be there taking pictures and hopefully getting some great shots for the blog(s). Their lead tailor, Remy, will be there taking consultations for those who are in the market for a GOOD, perfectly fitted suit OR just want to get some information on one.
June 26th is all booked up however so, that leaves only Saturday, the 27th for consultations.
If anyone is interested one, hit up Remy here: [email protected]
If anyone is interested in meeting up as well, grab a bite/drink, I’m also down to chop it up a bit. I’ll be arriving there at 10:00am and after my chat with Remy, I’ll be available.
The shots are from the Sydney location by the way. Only a few. I have A LOT more, but I’m saving those for my write up.
This is an old rejected shot. I’m not sure why though because I really like this. I probably thought I was trying to hard with the hand on my head and figured I’d look like a fuccboi.
The denim jacket blazer look is something of a regular occurrence when I want to dress up bit fancier. I’m not even sure if it’s THAT dope of a look if it were to get broken down by a sartorial genius or some shit.
But I fucks with it.
Different textures and fabrics workin’ together etc..etc..
So I’ve been wearing the shit out of these jeans (roughly three times a week; maybe four ) for the last year and a half possibly two years now. I don’t really recall, but I love how they’ve turned out. When I first even started to read about selvedge and raw denim, the idea of wearing the same pair of pants several times a week was so damn stupid.
Now look at me.
I’m wearing these things as I type this.
It’s 10:30 at fuckin’ night.
These are from Red Cotton Denim when he would send me prototypes to try. (Sidenote:He sent me this one pair that was so freakin’ skin tight on me. I walked in them for one day and had blisters on my damn knees. ) Anyways, this pair he modified for me slightly and made the inseam shorter since his are quite long for my liking and I’m definitely not tall.
I’ve only washed them three* times as well (the third being just this past weekend). One of the times I was forced too because this waitress at Hooters (first time there; not that good; not going back) spilled ranch on my pants so that had to be dealt with and I too initially thought that this was quite odd but the longer you go without washing them the better they’ll look apparently. That’s what the internet told me anyways.
It’s true.
I’ve got some great whiskers forming on the front (lines around my groin) and honeycombs in the back (totally forgot to take a picture). You can even see the phone in print on my left leg and the fading on the right side of my pants is from where I hold my keys. I keep my wallet in my back left pocket and there’s a slight imprint of the square there too, but that picture sucked in the end (blurry as shit) so take my word for it. It also gives great focal points for pickpockets.
I’m going to get another pair from Red Cotton Denim in the near future but also from one of my favorite brands, Rogue Territory.
Feels good to be back.
*Might be four but I’m pretty sure it’s three….maybe...….iono.
PS. Ass lookin’ good in that one pic. #tumblrbabe3000notes
P.S.S. Sock game. I see you lookin’.
I recently had the great opportunity to work with Sandast thanks to an old friend and I’m forever grateful. Working with a reputable company is something that I’ve been working towards for years and honestly...I was excited as hell. I kept my composure yeah, but inside I was losing it! Their style and product design of all of their products in their current line is exactly what their website boasts; Modern vintage.
Establishing a modern vintage feel to an item is much more than adding a few rustic modifications to it. There needs to be this sense of character and authenticity to stop it from feeling like a novelty accessory and more of an welcomed addition, if not an upgrade to your wardrobe. When it comes to bags and other leather accessories specifically, this could not be more essential.
The Downtown Los Angeles based leather bag company has been establishing a standard in high quality, luxury leather bags since 2010 and have only gone on to outdo themselves with each year that passes. Their products are handmade so each item will never be like the previous and most importantly, everything has a manufacturer's limit. Making each item almost exclusive. So when it’s gone; it’s gone. This is horrible news for you impulse buyers out there and would’ve been horrible news for Christian two years ago.
With prices ranging from $40 for a keychain to $1500 for their most expensive bag, you’re paying for quality and investing in pieces that will ideally last...forever. This is what the company wants to showcase the most, their quality. GREAT. That also means the materials they use to make their products are top notch too. GREAT AGAIN. Their inventory are made of leather from Horween Tanney in Chicago, handmade, and are also composed of frames and locks from Italy and buckles from France, Sandast takes their products very seriously.
Personally, when holding onto these bags I could immediately tell that this was something worth having. Nothing felt flimsy or subpar at all and I’d definitely feel comfortable having something like my laptop or camera equipment in there. My favorite by far was the Christopher, a nice sized weekender bag that would go with literally every outfit. Everything about that bag had this “I know I’m carrying something really dope and it’s way cooler than I am” feel. I have no problem with that at all. It was roomy and could easily fit more than enough to keep you prepared for a couple of days and it had that rich leather smell to go with it.
The lasting impression that I had from Sandasts’ products was the feeling of always using something new and energizing. Simply using their products was just fun and I couldn’t keep my hands off of them. Their stuff will end up in your weekly rotation and probably your daily to be honest. You’ll build up a nice patina on their things that way so using it everyday is a win-win!
Definitely enjoyed working with them.
Also found out that these images are going to be used in China and Japan ayyyyy!
Very late addition to the blackout. Slightly modified older pic. Uniqlo Polo.
What suede dub monks are you wearing in the Dappered Lazio suit review?
Hey brotha. Those are from Nordstrom's house brand, 1901. Constantly on sale and dip to $50 or so. For the price, the quality is solid and they're comfortable.
I really love this suit from Suit Supply.
Like a shit ton.
Photos taken by my brother, Nicholas.
Review coming up on Dappered within the next week.
More of this tomorrow.
This is from Suitsupply.
I can't keep it.
I know.....
I'm also hurting.
Early birthday gifts are the best; especially if they're J.Crew Kenton Boots.
