there is something just stunning about how freddy managed to hit the bullseye with kaz this season like from his chilling monologue in episode 4 to his packed silences while just looking at inej to the sly humor in “everyone has lost their minds” to his facial expressions when getting the shit beat out of him??? he completely took over the season and aced every hidden kernel of kaz

Loki is wearing an outfit with a symbol for the Time Variance Authority (TVA) - an organisation that monitors the multiverse.

The Time Variance Authority is an infinitely vast bureaucracy that governs a significant number of realities in the ever growing multiverse, and which has dedicated itself to keeping tabs on every reality that exists. It controls a temporal dominion which is approximately two or three times as large as Kang’s temporal empire. All employees are born and bred specifically to complete their functions. every employee in the TVA has lifetime employment. It is an organization of faceless bureaucrats. Most TVA employees are cloned from the same genetic stalk to reduce disputes and improve efficiency. However, the do recruit new promising candidates such as Justice Peace.

History

In the very distant future, the Time Variance Authority (or TVA) was formed with the goal of monitoring realities throughout the multiverse and attempting to keep temporal interference to a minimum. Although the TVA claims responsibility and authority over the entire omniverse, they have continued territorial disputes with Kang the Conqueror and his Kang Dynasty, Alioth, Revelation, Congress of Realities, and the Delubric Consortium.

THIS is what gets me so excited. Our alt!2012 Loki has either wreaked so much havoc or changed so much history in his timeline that he caught the attention of the TVA. Each employee in the TVA is capable of enforcing technologies as they’re discovered - which I suppose means there is someone who has the power to remove Loki from the Tesseract and imprison him. This Loki here is angry - his smile says that the second he gets his chance they’re all going to pay, and he’s formulating a dozen different plans in his brilliant head already. He’s handcuffed, but not defenseless. They’ll regret putting a god in chains.
