Randomly came up with a cool start for a Cyberpunk TTRPG campaign.
The year is 2077 (Corpo Mission)
The rain is unrelenting in the dark streets of Nightcity. You arrive at the aftermath of a Cyberpsycho attack in your AV luxury aircraft. You see NCPD badges and yellow holographic “do not cross” tape restricting the alleyway of where the cyberpsycho attacked. The Media is already on the scene reporting and take notice of your vehicle. You exit the AV and make your way to the alleyway. The media attempts to get a comment out of you getting in front of your path.
“What has happened here!?”
“Is Arasaka involved in this attack!?”
“Is it true that Arasaka chrome cause cyberpsychosis!?”
You push through them unfazed by their bickering questions. You walk through the holographic tape none of the Badges say anything. They glance at your black and red suit than continue to their business.
You see the child of one of the victims standing in the alleyway staring blankly at the cover of what once was their mother. A badge tries to pull them away to get them away from the scene. It’s a grim sight apart of you wants to console them to tell them everything is going to be okay to maybe offer comfort with an embrace. But you gave up your humanity a long time ago when you joined Arasaka. You remind yourself why you are here.
